I think that's true as most women I know have either no jobs whatsoever or work in very small amounts in quite menial jobs and the men are still seen as the 'bread winners', so to speak!!

Yes i think so, and i think that some companys are still sexist. My school was, when i was in year 9 we had assembly. They said that there is a brick laying course going for when the students are in year 10 and 11. Me and my friends signed up but the head of year tunred around and told us we werent alloud. As we were girls. And brick laying isn't a course for girls who care about theire looks and what colour lip gloss they can buy next.
I thought it was out of order and men still get better jobs than women there are more woman on lower paid jobs and men expect women to do most things such as cleaning.
