Is it true that even if you're over 16, it's illegal for somebody over the age of 24 to go out with you until you're 18??

i dnt fink so the onli 1 ive heard is that it's illegal for sum1 18 n over 2 ave sex wit sum1 unda 16 which we all no already lol

its illegal for someone over SIXTEEN to have sex with someone under sixteen... but once your over 16 your technically allowed 2 go out with who you want. tho i dont think a 24 year old and 16 year old would be very well recieved by people.

That's not true as a school girl in Aberdeen (aged 16) started dating her 44 year old teacher and he is only facing charges of breach of trust and contract.

It is not illegal for anyone over the age of 16 to sleep together what ever their age in most circumstances.

However there are rules regarding those whom work with children, especially teachers which prevents them from having a relationship with children even if they are 16 and work with them.

u can go out wit who u want, and why shud age matter its only a number??

there is no legal age limit to go out wit sum1 aslong as u dont have sex till ur 16

yeah thats true. its only if a person has sex below the age of 16. thats breaking the law. even if its with someone else under 16
