BILLY Murray is returning to EastEnders — just five months after he quit in a row over storylines.
His character, gangster Johnny Allen, is making a comeback for on-screen daughter Ruby’s final scenes.
But Johnny will not be seen in Albert Square — because he is serving 27 years for murder.
Instead, he will be shown behind bars, receiving a tip-off about Ruby’s involvement with a new boyfriend.
Billy, 64, said: “Viewers are in for a treat. I'm pleased to be back for such an exciting storyline.”
He left the show in March after complaining his character Johnny had become a softie. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
