Okay this will seem a bit pathetic but I'm really down at the min. I finished uni this summer , and have moved home and just found out that i'm losing my job in two weeks. This has been my job for 3 years on and off and has been a lot of fun, the summer has been really cool but all my mates mostly are going back to uni. I'm 22 but feel as though everything is over, there are no jobs that seem possible and next year I am going to journalism school to pass my journalist exams but till then I have to find a decent job and make a living. sorry 4 this moan but just wanted to air my thoughts

Aw bless u historydude. When ur feeling like this it's good 2 talk but also turn the negatives into a postitive. Think of all the things you have achieved recently i.e. getting a degree - absolutely fantastic, congrats!!!! You're going 2 journalism school so u pretty much know what you want 2 do with your life which is much better than most. OK so you might be losing your job but think of all the freedom you've gained! Have you thought of maybe going travelling or even becoming a temorary tour rep. Not only do you see parts of the world, but you get money for it and only have 2 work for a couple of months on a temporary basis? If you wanted 2 stay at home I'm sure with your ability you'd be able 2 get a job quick.
I hope i may have been some help but if not -sorry!!!! Just remember - there's always something out there and people there 2 help when your feeling !!!!
And if all else fails - You've always got the people on this forum to put a smile on your face!!!

just keep looking and you'll find something. Even if its a job that doesn't necessarily use your degree, a job is a job at the end of the day. You will always have your degree at the back of you, nobody can take that away from you.

At least if your living at home, you haven't got rent etc to pay.
Just keep looking, don;t give up!!!!
