Does any one know if this school is any good? The website it self doesn't show that many students who have become succesful, i know Sined moyniham(sp?) and Nico went there and also a few others from corrie such as Michelle Keegan but as for others they have been around for a while now

Well i wanted to go this year but when i applied in April they said it was full. So now i have applied for September 2009 i know it is far away but the course fills up very quckley apparently.
Yes i would like to go as i have always wanted to go into acting as a child but everyone thought i was joking but if the school isn't as good as the site makes it out to be i dont want to be wasting my money.

i tryed to find out the pass rates of the school, but it doesn't say much it just shows pictures and names of students who have been there. Bradley Walsh went there but i dont know if he went there before he got his role on corrie. Most of the students that they show are on soaps or have been in soaps.
But this is the only acting school i have come accross that doesn't require any A levels as you pay to learn although you have to pass an audition first.

As i said on another thread i need to learn the english language properly for my chosen career, so i will learn it to the best of my ability and see how it goes hoepfully all will be well.

Exactly! I know a french person who is not that fluent in english and gets words mixed roiund quite alot.
But every post that you have made makes perfect sense, is in the correct order etc.

I don't know why people always seem to think they either need to be mentally retarted,crap at english,cool innit,drone on about their life problems,and having babies shooting out of them every so often to get respect on here.

i'm using my english school books to help me along here, but at the end of the day it's only peoples opinions about my engligh being bad but seem to be able to write it finei know how bad it is and im trying my best to imropve it what more can i do.

The books arent those type of books, it's the work that we done in the lessons. I never paid much attention in english as i thought why woudl i need it when i have my welsh language, but turns out i do need english for my chosen career apart from when we were doing work about plays and dramas i nevver listend when doing work about shakespear though as i didn't understand the language.

The work in my book is like when and where to use apostaphies, how to structer sentences and paragraphs which word too use when one word has more than one meaning.

i'm improving my speach part aswel or as i shoudl say trying. i'm speaking english to some of my friends although many welsh words comes out in the same sentance, they just laugh at me and thik it's funny.

Well that is one of the reasons why i done this thread as the site doesn't state it's pass rate only shows some of the successful students who have gone from the school to get roles in ho corrie ee. So i thought there mught be a chance of people on here knowing people who hae attended the school or heard things about it.

I've known a couple of child actors. They acted. Pure and simple.

If you want to make it a career then go do, studying is just going to stall things. Go for auditions, get agents, do panto, school plays, local 'Players' productions. The more you do the better you'll get, but thinking your big break will be as a result of education is so far off the mark.
