Depend on how far you want to go back with Diana Ross.
If you are talking about the 60s Motown era, then there is plenty of groups/singers like Marvin Gaye, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, The Temptations, Jimmy Ruffin, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles.
