A nanny, what a horrible way for a child to be brought up.

I just hope Jamie has a good support network around her. It seem's that the parents have never sat her and Britney down and disscused safe sex, it seems that conversation has never happened. I just hope for Jamie and her baby that they don't get harassed to much.

Also it was announced today that Lily Allen is pregnant, i doubt she will be harassed like the Spears family.

:S But it doesn't mean she'd have nothing to do with her kid. But should a woman automatically have to give up her job when she becomes a mother?

It does no harm to a child to be raised by several people, family, friends, a nanny would probably get attatched to the child too. As long as the parents do make time for their children and show them lots of love and affection then what is the harm? It doesn't make you a bad and distant parent if you have a nanny.

i didnt say that lol.. but some parents that have nannies do not get involved in anything their child does, its always the nanny.

obv looking after the child for a few hours a day is ok, but when the nanny has to look after them 24/7 thats a no no imho.

That's ok, I didn't really think of a nanny watching a child 24/7, I just meant during the day perhaps so that the mother can work Smileso I was kinda surprised by the responses I saw.

i think she is very irresponsible for her age.
i know young mums can make great parents (my mum was 14 when she had me) but i mean come on!
there is just no reason to get yourself in that situation at 16

Does it matter if you're married or not? Does that make it better? C'mon this isn't the Victorian era. I just think Britney being pregnant wasn't so shocking because she was in her twenties.

The only problem I see is that Jamie-Lynn is quite young to be having a baby and she either didn't use protection or her contraceptives failed.
