Just curious as to what are people's favourite seasons on here...I've only seen up to 2 myself but I've heard season 3 is great, season 4 was so-so and season 5 has gotten off to a good start. Anyway for now I'd say

1. Season 2
2. Season 1

It's hard to split the first 3 seasons. Season 1 was good as it was the first, but suffered from an over reliance on FOW storylines. Season 2 brought us the Caves, and the legend of Naman and Sageeth (sp??) and also a brilliant cameo from Chris Reeve. Season 3 was equally strong, with an increased use of Lionel and better character development in my opinon, especially Lex. Season 4 was a little bit disappointing, the stones storyline was a good idea, as was the use of the Teagues also looking for them, but writing Lana into the story was just a very bad and forced way to keep her in the series. Who knows what it would have been like if she has stayed in Paris for the year, would we have seen a better use of Lois and then a torn Clark between which girl he wants? As for season 5, without wanting to give spoilers away for those who haven't seen it, the words Zod, Jor-El, Milton Fine sum up what a great start we've had. Start perhaps being not the greatest word I'm halfway through season 5 now.

I would have to say that season 3 was by far the best season so far because you learn a lot more about a lot of the characters, especially lex. Season 4 was kind of a dissappointment after the way season 3 went, but season 5 has definitely been good so far and could challenge season 3 as the best. On a side note though, I think season 1 was the season that left you hanging the most at the end of it, since it stopped in the middle of about 5 different mini storylines. I guess thats it, lets hope season 5 continues on its current trend.
