Another good episode, setting us up nicely for the 100th ep on thursday.......this season is so much better than last season, and even halfway through we already know there is more to look forward to with the proposal/death in the next episode, the return of Milton Fine in the 16th episode as well as the possible appearances of Jor-El and General Zod
Great stuff

The Lex/Lana stuff is helping to set up the rivalry between Lex and Clark, whilst also driving Clark to the point where he realises he has to tell Lana his secret.
Add to that, Jonathan finding out about the money Lion-El gave to Martha, it sets thing up for the 100th ep, thats all it needed to do as far as I am concerned

I also think they made a mistake killing of the Sheriff, I always thought she was a strange character and well used.
Also looking forward to Brainiac returning, and possible more developments regarding Zod. Any chance of Non and Ursa do you think, or were they two Kryptonians sent in the season opener? Don't think they were named, plus as they both spoke I don't think it was them, as Non is characterised by never speaking.

i couldnt quite belive that they killed the sheriff off
Alas the Sheriff is dead. Long live the Sheriff. In Episode 14 their is reference to the new sheriff, so no chance of the brilliant Camille Mitchell returning.

Yes but in the episode she was shot once then fell over. She was never pronounced dead. I was hoping she would hobble about for a few episodes, trying to get Clark to join the cops.
