ive watched it, another lionel episode always good, the return of pa kent/milton fine was interesting.

I think it was this one Becky, if I said you know who is on his way, would that make sense? As this topic is entitled episode 21 I assume everyone knows it will have spoilers in, so if you don't want to know what is going to happen look away now.

To be honest, this episode was ok, good in parts but slow in others. It all seems a bit predictable for thr finale, but at least it won't be overly stupid.

Really liked the stuff with Lionel. As always, he shines as the star of the show, and thought his scenes with Clark and Chloe were brilliant. The Clark/Lionel/Jonathan scene was awesome, and will definately watch again. It was a bit obvious that Jonathan wasn't Jonathan, especially when he saw Martha, but at least it was revealed halfway through rather than being dragged out.

When Lionel was channeled at this point, my heart was pounding. Brilliant. I was screaming at the TV "why doesn't Fine just kill Lionel himself" but it all makes sense. We know that Brainiac is an artificial intelligence created by Kryptonians, but I think here Smallville is going for the interpretation that Jor-El created him, (as Jor-El was a scientist I believe and this sort of fits) and as such, Jor-El can destroy him if necessary. Since Fine is not affected by Kryptonite, and Clark cannot simply kill him, I think this fits quite well.

Lex with powers! Why o why! This could be one of the biggest faux pas the've ever done, and if it goes where I think it will I won't be pleased. Although, this has explained Fine's intention some, it doesn't make entire sense yet.

Also think that the episode ended well, with the finishing line of 'Zod is coming' close up there in cliffhanger terms, but I never think they will top 'Your secret is safe with me, Kal-El.'

All in all, looking forward to the finale.

yes its this one ive watched, it was so strange seeing clark and lionel having a conversation. i knew it wasnt his dad to start with as his dad wouldnt asked him to kill anyone.

I liked seeing Clark and Lionel on screen together, I think Tom working with such an experienced and fine actor like Glover brings out the best in him.

I sort of feel sorry for Lionel now, he is this oracle of Kryptonian knowledge, but he can't be friends with Martha as he's told her the truth about Jonathans death. I just hope he has a pivotal role to play in the finale, catatonic or not.

I just got round to watching this today. Another great eppy setting everything up nicely for the season finale (the spoilers I've read about it sound great).

Liked seeing Pa Kent in this episode even though it wasn't him. Also like how Clark and Chloe are still working closely together (maybe that is the hint of them becoming a couple next season like Al/Miles mentioned could happen).

Looking forward to the finale this week but also going to be windering what happens for the next 4 months till it's back on our screens again lol

if clark and chloe become a couple he will only hurt her - i mean look how he treated lana and he loved her. so im not hoping that they do as i dont want chloes heartbroken

I know what you mean becky being a fan of Chloe myself but I would still love to see them together as a proper couple even if for only a little while. It's going to be either him and Chloe or him and Lois, I don't think they should touch the Lois think yet. Should be left for Superman only

so Lex is a Prof. Fine type robot now? mmm...ok

not a bad ep though,lets hope the finale is good.
