Hello. I was wondering, does anyone know when season 7 will be showing in the UK? I would like to think E4 would show it straight after season 6, thereby running 2 seasons back to back, but is that too much to hope for from them?

Second question is does anyone know what the ratings are like for Smallville in the UK? It seems like E4 just dismissed it for a year and showed the cancelled (and rediculous) OC, along with constant reapts of friends instead of it? Now with the season 6 box set released I am wondering if anyone will bother to watch it on E4 on Sundays and will that affect E4 (or any other channel) obtaining and showing season 7?

Hello girthers( interesting name).In answer to question one of running two seasons back to back,not a hope in hell(channel four have no funds and what they have goes on bb and fines for dubious phone comps ) and they have shown season six when they did because it cost them as little as possible.

Question two.the ratings have dropped for season six mainly because people have looked elsewhere to view it because of the wait they have had to endure .Honestly i don't think it will,they will do the same again and pay the least they can for it.So look a long way forward to august next year before people in the uk get a sniff of season 7

Hell, I would be all for that I mean, ITV seemed to be doing a very good job with the episdoes that they had and it would make sense for them to carry it on as they had the rights to the New adventures and can now kepp all those viewers interested with an even better superman show, not to mention the fact that they have already shjown at least up to the end of season 2 I believe it was.

Yeh I think its really just becasue most of the guys on here barring you and me kid, haev seen season 6 already on the ent and have already talked about it but its all new to us isnt it. But then I again season seven has already started in the states so from that point of view it has been quite a grave yard in here.

Been a killer workwise these past ten days ,people should stop eating then i could have my life back!.

Yeah I would say the ratings for E4 on Sunday night will shrink significantly because they just waited too long to show season 6, now with the box set out noone will watch it. This will convince E4 even further not to bother too much with Smallville. Will we ever see season 7? If E4 (and no other channel) pick it up because of poor ratings (due to their own mistakes) will it even be released here on DVD?

If we do ever get season 7 it will be a long wait and the box set may even be out before then. Channel 4 should really make an executive decsion on smallville. Personally i think that they should scrap bb.

i really think the same but can you see C4 stopping BB just for smallville. the will keep BB as it gets them more money!!

I suppose you are right, but they have not be treating smallville very well what with the long delay before season 6 and the change to the 9:30 slot.

Did anyone notice channel four scrapping richard and judy to save the millions they paid them each year,maybe they can spend the money on an early showing of season seven eh ? probably not.

I would never get my hopes up like that, I mean what are the chances that a channel that has been so stupid ( and thats being nice) with such a good show, is all of a sudden going to start spending more money on it, especially when they have been brainwashed by god knows how many years of BB crap.

Hey Guys im new here but a HUGE smallville fan i watched all of season 6 on E4 n at the end they mentiond the new series was on i nthe new year well the new year is here so where is it! lol i hope they meant it in anycase iv seen all the season 7 episodes up 2 ep 12 as I downlaoded them but i jsut hope E4 puts it on soon
