Some questions about the Phantom Realm. One what the hell is it? Two who created it? Finally how in the heck will Clark escape from it at the start of season 6?

First it is the phantom zone It is a form of a prison for dangerous criminals who inhabited krypton. It was created by jor-el , clark's biological father to keep the said criminals such as zod locked up. in season six clark escapes thorough a porthole with the help of a girl called maya who is connected to jor-el in some way.Hope this helps.
Thanks for that. By the way do you have any idea how Clark will get rid of Zod. I also wonder that if Clark defeats Zod will he strike a deal with Jor El to leave him alone if he does.

Remember at the end of season 5 the plane carrying martha kent and lois lane last seen pilotless and flying over snowy mountains well..... At the start of season six the plane crashes within sight of the fortress of solitude.Lois is unconcious for the whole episode and sees nothing, martha on the other hand enters the fortress where jor-el gives her a crystal, [i think],which is a means to get rid of zod. When clark escapes from the phantom zone his mother gives him the crystal, there is a confrontation between him and zod which leads to zod telling clark to kneel before him. When clark takes zods hand it comes in contact with the crystal and releases zod from lex,it does not however send zod back to the phantom zone he is last seen flying over the remote mountains of either brazil or argentina i forget which. As for clarks relationship i think you will find as time goes on clark will come to realise his father is not the monster he thought him to be .His fathers actions will come through as ones which were designed to save the human race and not destroy it.
Thanks, for that. By the way in season 6 is Jor El still inhabiting Lionel and if so how do you think that will affect Lionel and Clarks relationship? As if Jor El is still in Lionel than we could be seeing a lot more scenes with the two of them.

Lionel claims he is not getting messages since the fortress died ,but he is and he's somewhere between his old evil self when he's around lex but when he's around martha he's like a love sick puppy. Can work it out matey.
russian 21 your knowledge is very good how do you know all this stuff? and cloude strife i know what you mean you just wanna ask loads of questions but i think it would be better to watch it and figure it out you'l understand more you know wat i mean m8 .
ah so thats how clark gets out but if he has to fight zod and save his friends wont anyone notice his powers and if clark does all of it would lex know whats happened?
Hello again my friend as to your question clark's confrontation with zod takes place in the field where lex was taken into the ship ,pretty remote therefore nobody around .As for lex ,the moment zod leaves lex's body clark is away and lex remembers nothing of the fight.
So only Clark will know about the fight and he is not likely to go broacasting it. By the way I noticed something interesting, I have watched the scene where Clark fights Zod, and at the end when he touches the Zod inhabited Lex with the artefact he uses to get Zod out of Lex Clark says "My father sends his regards" refering to Jor-El. He called Jor -El father I can't get over it.

Clark has always refered to jor-el as his biological father and jonathan as his father, however when clark is trapped in the phantom zone raya, the girl who rescues him tells clark the truth about jor-el and how clark was sent to earth to save the planet and not to rule it as clark had been led to believe by milton fine thats why when clark gets zod out of lex he says the line "my father sends his regards" it almost like acceptance by clark of jor-el.
So does this mean that Clark could finally be accepting his kryptonian hertitage and destiny? By the way if clark was sent to earth to save it and not conquer it then what about the message in the ship that Clark came to earth in, which after Clark had read said to Johnathen "I think I was sent here to conquer"?

Hello mate, had to dig the dvd's out for this one.I think some of the things jor-el said to clark prior to him getting trapped in the phantom zone had an aggressive tone to it and most of the time it centered around jor-el preparing clark for his destiny which clark almost always interprets as his father preparing him to rule.
It's a part of smallville that is really interesting why? ,well as far as i know,(and someone will correct me if i am wrong i but i am sure)lionel does not appear in any part of siegal and shuster's original superman stories. If that is the case he was created for smallville which means the writers have a free hand with his character and who he interacts with and how other characters react to what he does.
If you are into lionel then just wait for ep 16 promise,he is really going to come to the fore,if you think you have seen sh*t hitting fans before then let me say you have seen nothing like it.
