As i have stated on a different thread the sixth series of smallville will not be aired by E4 until the summer of 2007 at the earliest i contacted E4 four and this is the official line from them .I suspect that they would not stump up the money to show the series at the time they have in the past,either warner bros wanted more or E4 are just cheapskates.I also have a strong feeling that because the series is to be shown at a different time this will affect warner bros release of the dvd in this country.after all they are unlikley to release in late may early june as they have the last two years when the series will not air until july or august.All in all i think we are being pood on.Go on channel four website and register your disgust on the f.a.q./ complaints page ,it probably will not do any good but it might make you feel better.

Hi, I'm new, but Iam a really big Smallville geek. I think that normally they wait until they have finished running any other new season they are running such as the O.C before they start Smallville.

I can beleive that E4 aren't showing this until Summer. What a kick in the teeth!! It would serve them right if the BBC snapped this up! It would be better quality without having adverts showing every 10 minutes!
Nooo not ITV! They would put it on after Emmerdale and all that crap. If any of the other terrestial channels get it I would like it to be BBC TWO. So there would be no ad breaks and It would be on at a good time.

The new series of Smallville will begin in July of this year. Due to shedules that distance in the future being subject to change, I cannot confirm a more specific date at this time.

I blame that peice of crap Ugly Betty, and that house full of 10th rate celebreties on Big Brother. I hope E4 get their collective arse in gear and get season 6 on the air. I need to see if all the rumours are true.

Big Brother is here to stay, and all this **** recently has only raised it's profile, all they need is a new sponsor and the masses will continue to watch this awful show with no merit whatsoever. I swear that you could hit the average viewer over the head with a copy of '1984' and they wouldn't know what it was!

Some programmes I like, and some I do not. I happen to like Smallville, but I do not like Big Brother.
Normally, it doesn't bother me, when programmes I don't like are on - I choose not to watch them. But in this case, it's different.
Smallville was just getting interesting, in the middle of Season 5. All of a sudden, Big Brother starts up. Some programmes are removed to make room for it. Not retimed - REMOVED. Hollyoaks and a few others remained, but Smallville was one of the casualties.
You do NOT run a series daily, then interrupt it in the middle to make room for a piece of crap like Big Brother! I wouldn't have minded if it had gone to 4am as I have Sky+, but to take it off the air altogether? That is just unforgivable. And what's more, when it finally comes back on after Big Brother ends, it goes right back to Season 3, leaving us all in the lurch in the middle of Season 5.
At least it's daily again, which is better than weekly. I hope when the new series comes out, it will be daily, but I somehow doubt it.

I don't blame russian for wanting to see what happens in season 6. Hey russian if you find anything will you let me know on this message board? Big Brother must go, Gar is right your average Big Brother viewer has probably never read '1984' or 'Lord of the Files' or indeed anything that requires more intellectuall capacity to understand than the Sun. E4 would be thanked profusley, after some grumbling about it being bloody time, if the finished showing season 5 then sorted out showing season 6.

i keep hearing smallville is to start, in jan/feb, then i hear in july, and again in august/september time. i wish e4 would make there minds up. im a really big smallville fan and cant wait to see it. im totally gutted if they decide to air it 8 months. i cant wait that long.
