It is really frustrating that Channel 4 and E4 can not get there act together on showing tv shows. If I didn't have digital tv I would not have been able to see Season 4 or 5 due to the delay in showing Smallville on Channel 4.

Although I feel Smallville lost its way in Season 5, the Season finale was really good and I am looking forward to finally seeing Season 6.

Is it because E4 is now a non-paying channel, instead relying on its income from adverts, that they have lost out on money to make the necessary purchases, which has let sky buy up Lost etc?

E4 and channel 4 have managed to find enough money to buy that pecice of shite Ugly Betty and do another Celebrity Big Brother. So they obviously not lacking funds. So why not finish season 5 then spend the money on aquiring season 6. I just hope that Smallville is not lost to Sky like Lost as I don't have Sky.

I'm with you the no to sky for smallville. Its still hard enough to keep up with shows on E4 and C4 due to the crap times and lack info coming out of channel 4 as to when shows are on. I have kind of made up my mind that I will have to wait for the box sets of every thing that I want to watch. at least that way I get to see the uncut show.

I know the times on channel 4 and e4 are crap. You have to wait for all the shite stuff to finish before anything good comes on. Also they probably won't carry on showing season 5 until BB is over. Then we will probably have to wait for the new series of the O.C to finish, before we get to see season 6. Not that I have a problem with the OC it is pretty good, but I prefer Smallville.
