wow this episode was great! i watched it last night and it was awesome.
it looks like they changed the heat vision effect a little its pretty cool.
they also implemented the yellow sun concept a lot into the episode and probably the rest of the season.
anyways it was a sweet episode and ill leave it at that. if you want me to tell you something about the episode say so.

It wasn't the best episode tbh
I liked the bit with Lois and Clark! And Lana's hair was funny! but that's about it.
I think i'm going off smallville a bit !

This episode was dreadful. Bizarro was even more of a letdown than Zod.....and that's saying something!

I pretty much wrote me review for this episode back in May. Lana and Chloe are alive, Bizarro is defeated with ease, and by next week everything will be back to normal.

There wasn't even any memorable dialogue to remember, apart from the Bizarro/Lois scene. Lex was terrible and totally unbelievable, Clark never seemed too fussed that somebody that looked like him was running around ripping people;s insides out, Lois accepted everything far too easily - as always - and for once the epseical efects were very poor. Though that might end up as a good thing, as at least it means they haven' blown half a season budget on the first episode like they always do.

i really didnt think this episode was very bad.
you know that bizarro is not necessarily dead yet...he got taken up into space but they didnt show him dieing or they didnt even say anything about him being defeated, so i think he might be comming back.
lol i pretty much disagree with everything you said ninjy. the graphics were pretty good also i thought.
to me it seems like you are being WAY to critical and thats that. (no offense intended)

I'm not being way too critical, I watched the episode and it was De Ja Vous again! Season finale, everyone is left for dead. Season premier, everyone is alive. Seen it before......many times.

Why do you think Bizarro is not dead? Do you remember what happened to Zod? He was forgotten about straight away.....

The effects were bad by Smallville standards, which is still better than most other shows.

and @ ninjy bear: bizarro is in the real superman(in his own bizarro world and everything) so thats why i think its possible hes not dead. and they also didnt mention anything about his defeat either, so i guess we will hear about him in the next episode hopefully. but if he is done with i will be VERY VERY disappointed.

Oh, Yeh, I am not sure his origins are competley known, but what I think haooened was that he was just discovered when he broke out of the bizarro universe when cuperman was hit with a sort of seperation beam that went wrong and his existance was there from then on.

The last Phantom was body snatching to try and find itself a host. He could only stay so long before the body burnt out and need a Kryptonian body to merge itself with. When Clark went to confront Lex, the last pahntom escaped from a little boy and merged with Clark's DNA but, for some unexplained reason, ended up with his own body instead of inhabiting Clark's.

I described the way I find out he was created from the very first superman appearence, ninjy has got the right smallville way, for the direct synopsis look it up on wiki cloud, but what ninj has said about sums it all up.

As i have mention this week this was my most anticipated tv show i wanted to watch mainly due introduction of supergirl who make a minimum appearance during this episode. Still all it took was her to save lex and he turn himself in even through he is innocent since Lana in china.

i wasn't disappointed but you just know it would all be over by end of the episode and i got to say i was impressed with the story-line with phantom using kynotonite to heal himself-that was brillant not even i could though of that. it took clark 7 year to learn sun is his energy how the hell didn't he notice that before ?. this what annoy me the most about the writers

Maybe the phantom needed to merge with a kryptonian to gain its own body. Or maybe clark some how forced it out yet the phantom was able to replicate him.

I have seen bizzaro 7.1 and in many ways i have to agree with ninjybear,the similarities with zod were uncanny the effects were very poor for smallville standards and i think bizzaro was shall we say intercepted in flight by manhunter and returned to the phantom zone so unlikely you will see him again in season seven.Lex was completely out of character and defeated much too easy and as i know many of you dislike it i think when lana returns from the orient the clana will be on again.As for the rest of season seven i hope the supergirl story is expanded and lionel and lex fight it out to the death,by the way where the hell is lionel ?.

What?? Lionel dosen't crop up in the first episode of season 7?
