Can anyone tell me when Smallville Season 5 will be shown on UK TV?

I think it will start on E4 sometime in January/February, based on how far S5 is in American and when it came out this year on E4.

A mid season break has just come in with the airing of season 5 in the States, which was about the same time when it started in the UK for season 4.

Channel 4/E4 has slated both Invasion and the new season of Smallville for January

oh I cant wait. You normaly get clips just after christmas for when the new series is starting. I love clarke so much cant wait for series 5

What aboout on C4?

They havn't even shown Season 4 so no chance S5 will be shown on ch4

E-mailed the people at whats on TV and they said

"I'm the features ed at What's On TV. I've been passed your email query about
Smallville. Season 5 is due to screen here on E4 on January 9. So far there is
no date for it being shown on Channel 4, but it probably will be eventually -
the first part of the year is taken up with Celebrity Big Brother on Channel 4."
