Former Marvel Studios CEO Avi Arad may have let a big one out of the bag when talking to IFMagazine.com. He says there are four villains in Spider-Man 3!
iF: There are four villains this time, Venom, Sandman, and Green Goblin and when is the fourth going to be revealed?
ARAD: Right we have four villains. Pretty soon [we'll reveal the fourth villain] I believe. Maybe around Comic Con we'll reveal something and the madness will begin.
The full interview is available at the link above. The third installment hits theaters on May 4, 2007. Stay tuned to Superhero Hype! for continued reports from the New York City sets.

USA Today caught up with 2006 MTV Movie Awards host Jessica Alba, who talked about 20th Century Fox's Fantastic Four 2.
"We start 'Fantastic Four 2' in August," said Alba. "The four of us learn that there are other people out there with superpowers, and the Silver Surfer appears as a villain/hero. And another villain comes in as well. My character, Susan Storm, has another love triangle and may use a power people haven't seen before. She's the most powerful of the four."
The studio is planning a June 15, 2007 release for the sequel.

Is Fox adding another superhero movie to line-up for 2007? According to The Hollywood Reporter, that's exactly what they are doing:
The promise of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine headlining a spinoff of 20th Century Fox's "X-Men" franchise next year was a highlight of Day 2 here at Cine Expo.
20th Century Fox promised the gathered exhibitors a Jackman starrer titled "Wolverine" for next year and Jackman himself sent the show a taped promise to back up the news.
Pencil in Wolverine for 2007!

IIRC, the Silver Surfer was the herald of Galactus before turning on his boss and fighting along side the F4. So perhaps he will be the main villian?
The two other big baddies I remember from when I was a lad are The Mole Man, and Namor- The Submariner. I'm not sure about Mole Man on the big screen, but Namor would be really cool! BRG
I can't wait for Wolverine. I'm not kidding. Looking forward to it so much!
I mean...Hugh Jackman. What more do you need?
I'm hoping, perhpas, there's a few cameos of other characters, maybe Rogue....

As for Fantastic Four 2, well i look forward to that too. Chris Evans (USA) playing Johnny Storm....mmm, another reason why I love superhero movies...lol.

there making an IRON MAN movie to be directed by Jon Favreau who starred in episodes of friends as monicas boyfriend pete (the one with the ultimate fighting champion) who also directed ELF starring will farrell, its set to hit the cinemas in early 2008
Thomas Jane has pulled out of The Punisher 2 I can't say I blame him to be honest, Lionsgate had no intention of making the film the way it should be. If the sequel does get made I won't be watching it.
Edward Norton as The Incredibly Hulk? Interesting choice. I liked the action in the first one but can understand why this is a re-imagining instead of a direct sequel.
This al sounds amazing now tha I ahve had the chance toread it properly, got a lot of cool posts on here. So firstly about F4 guys I know that it is clear that Galactus shall be a villian, and I am going to say that should be sick, next Victor Von "Doctor" Doom is already cast as the second and if there is a third I have only ever heard of the Mole Man he is joke, little stump its well funny but perhaps a bigger F4 fan then my self would be so kind as to tell me who this Namor is I ahve never as of yet heard of him.

Ahhh that sucks I personally thought Punisher 1 was a great film, and John Travolta finally got thrashed lol, nice to see him evil of late instead as a thirty some thing in leather trying to represent a teenager lol. But that suck Punisher 2 was one of the film sequesl I was really looking foward to.

Eric Bana has gone as well, what the hell is happening to all the films they can not keep getting rid or having thier main stars gone after a good portrayal of the Hulk last time, I thought the film needed a bit of Script helop but the Hulk looked coll and as Strong as Sh*t. Well as long as the story is good, I think it can still pull it off, same goes for Punisher 2 but I am talking proper good, and I mean Kick ass, at least a minimum 8 out of 10 type thing here lol.

Any Heroes fans here? By far the best Superhero story on film to date. Chris Eclestone (Doctor Who) as the Invisible Man is awesome.
It's certainly giving Smallville a lesson in developing an interesting superhero storyline without trying to remake Dawsons Creek.
It's about time they put The Flash on the big screen. The TV Series was ok, but if one of these film makers ever reads a few comics they might understand what makes each successful superhero character's storys work. Here's a start, not all superheros wear black. Somehow Batman, Spiderman, X-men, etc now all wear black (to name a few) when of these only Spiderman ever wore black in the comics.
What makes Heroes special is no effort goes into the costumes, or suddenly becoming a Kung Fu blackbelt after being bitten by a spider or whatever (ridiculous). It's all about the powers and how they progress the storylines.
Hello ugly fatman, first time I have seen you one the forum so welcome, Just thought that unless youa re talking about the comics, isn't Batmans original costume supposed to be black as he fights most crime during the night and most of his comic and and film adations have kept to that, (excluding the crap batman 3 and 4 - dear god hlp them lol) and Spidey he only turned black with the small but very cool Venom black sui saga but that was only for a short period of time wasnt it.

In the 60s & 70s, when I was a young boy Batman's costume was grey and blue.. They even darkened Superman's suit in the last movie, as well as Daredevil's in his film. Some of these films really do bring shame on the creativity of the likes of Stan Lee, Shuster & Seigel.
Ergh, no try 16 and incase you cant count that (no offence) but it means I was not born until 1990 and that also means that I ahve never even seen any where near the first 100 comics of the beginning of any great super hero today and to be honest I was never really into he comic book, but I do see the darker sui in the new Superman movie, but that looked cool, spidermans suit is obviously becasue of the symbiote suit that it is black, and I am sure that many people will agree that the back suits BAT(bats are black) man so much more as itplays mre on his darker nature and Tim Burton did a wonderful job of portrying the true suit of the dark knight in Batman 1. YOu have to admit man that it looks so much better then blue and gray. And I am not sure if it is accurate but I just Wikipediad batmans first comic in the detective comics and his suit is BLACK and grey. You are apparently older then me so please tell me if this is accurate as so far Wikipedia has never let me down before as it appears to know every thing. Also dont take no offence from this post, jsut wanted to make that clear as well.
Lex: I know you, you've stolen from me before Bart: I want a lawyer Lex: And I want a ponytail....dissapointment abounds BRILLIANT
Batman's costume was originally blue & grey, I have the comic collection to prove it. As for making every superhero suit dark, thereby making it cool. Well that's just plain stupid and is exactly why comic books don't sell anymore. They need to put more energy into writing a story.
All you have to do is watch Heroes or even Pulp Fiction (with Samuel L Jackson in that geeky t-shirt and shorts scaring the F out of Tim Roth & Miss Plummer). It's about acting and scripts.
