It surprises me that they keep moaning about the potter kids being to old to play the later films when you have Clark (28) and Lana (23) and Chloe (23) successfully playing 18-19 year olds.
Its a shame Toms appearance in the Fog remake was so tame - it really didnt add anything or improve on the original. Does anyone agree? -------------------------------------
That boy needs therapy Lie down on the couch What does that mean.......
successfully??? LOL! Chloe is probably the only one that can act half decent, yet it is still a joke that she looks far too old for the part,as they all do. Yet its the same with most teens shows...The OC comes to mind.

ye I did mention that, and gave an example...but it is still really stupid and annoying.

Its due to the child labour laws in america. If they used actors that were the proper age it would take twice as long and twice as much money to make these shows due to the fact that children cant work all the hours that adults do and as these "children" appear in 99% of the scenes it makes sense to go for older actors.
nah,15-17 year olds would bypass that themselves to be part of a big show. That is really only for under 13s who wouldnt be able to take it.

ye i know,but that doesn't mean they still would'nt work...they have a choice.

I think it depends, cos like with harry potter, they were younger when they started, so as they got older, it was ALOT more noticable how they had changed though out the films, where as with the OC of with Smallville cos theyve grown up more, its less noticeable, besides who cares? could you really imagine anyone else playing clark? he's so buff!
the potter characters have grown with the show. even though rons the only one whose "acting" doesnt make me cringe. i dont think they can change the actors now it wouldnt work.
