I really felt upset last week when Lex pushed his father out that building...to me Lionel was the heart and soul of SMALLVILLE, with his dodgy dealings and always seeming to get away with it.

he was smart , good-looking and had so much charisma. what a sad loss to such a superb show....Lex I hate you with a passion, how could you do it?

Me a number of other forum veterans were expecting it for some time now and it really didn't come as a shock to me when lex did it.

yes we knew it was going to happen, but still sad to see him die! but because of a his death lex is now a pure evil man, and nothing will stop him now!!!

How could you possibly know it was going to happen...unless you have seen future episodes?...or you but DC comics and Lionel no longer plays a part in them.

Quite a few of us on here have discussed this over a period of time and came to the conclusion that lex's journey to the dark side would be completed by him killing the one man who appeared to be more powerful than him.Actually lionel has never played a part in the comic books,he was a creation of the producers of smallville gough and millar to add depth to the luthor family.

yeah what russian said, we have been talking about how will lex get to the end of the road of good and go down the road to pure evil, which lead us to believe tat he had to kill his father. but it is sad to see lionel leave, or more to say fall away.

Very true guys like you kid, russian, sunoit and myself have been discusing this for a while now it seemed like an almost innevitable path for lex to take.

this might be bit sad saying this but i liked how lex's last hope of goodness dies in the fire! the little lex now fully dead. but i dont know if it was lex going mad, or we could see kid lex because we have seen in his mind.?

I think for lex to truly become the person we now know any last remnant of goodness has to be wiped from his memory,and that ,i believe is what little lex is ,it's the voice of reason which exists in everyone's head and the only way lex can commit the crimes on humanity is to silence that voice.

Yes indeed there may be any who I wonder if lex's little crime will ever get found out. By the way who is the guy who seems to be trying to stop lex? I mean he attacked the woman who was working for lex and then he attacked lex in geneva when he opened the safty deposit box. Is he someone who has remained loyal to lionel and is out to protect clark's identity or is he acting on behalf of another veritas member?

and last night episode was great i loved every second of it! where clarks see's into the future and see's what it would be like with out him. it started off good from him, as chole was getting married, lana also married and kids, his father still alive. clark was thinking that he made the right choice. bu then he finds out kara was bought up by the luthors and lex being presient!! it went down hill from there!
and wow green k bullets! i never thought i see the day when lex makes them!

but did anyone notice that lex had the all white suit on? which we have seen before when clark holded hands with that old woman!!? he was presient there! and about seeing him in a massive graveyard, which was going to be caused by the bombs!!

thing i didnt like was how kara 'killed' milton fine, by a rock! whick we saw him laugh before she crushed him. but i dont htink his dead, seeing what happended to kara at the end of the episode.

ohoh and i loved when clark had on a work suit, then lois saying something was missing...the glasses! and i thought he did look ok in them! and also the love chemistry with him and lois!!

I know what you mean about the way Fine was 'killed' i mean the most powerful coumputer in the universe killed of by a sharp rock i don't think so.

Im sure there was some sort of krypton essence or something in the rock that destoryed his artificial body and your right kid, he aint gone, not yet anyways...
