i saw it last night, it was absolutely amazing, the only bad thing was angel, he shouldnt have been in it, not because he was abd character but because he didnt do anything

Well he didn't exactly do nothing, he saved his father.. But yes apart from that he didn't do much..

Grand film though.. Totally flippin ace.. I loved it..

I did cry though, 3 times.. 3 things disappionted me.. Rogue and Pyro mainly.. But it was fab.. Only thing I didn't get was, where did Pyro go? He was ko'd then that was it.. It wasn't made clear what happened to him..

Not really Bex.. I mean, they could, but it'd be crap.. You'll know why when you see it..

they could leave it open for a decent sequel. there is a lot more story to tell with the x-men. a hell of a lot more characters to bring in. id personally love to see apocalypse

i never put a full review on this film but im going to now.

some of the points previously made are true but if you go to a film looking for the negative points your going to find them.

cyclops may have been treated unfairly, but when the pheonix first came into the comics she did kill cyclops for him later to come back so this isnt such a bad thing that happened. although they should have explained his death more.

I agree that angel shouldnt have been in the film. it seemed he was only there so they could get his dad into the film for the cure.

The love triangle was taken from the ultimate x-men comic. i would have preferred it to be kitty and colossus but in all fairness if brett ratner took all storylines they way fans wanted, it would have been an eight hour film.

Juggernaught should have been a lot stronger. this character was also based on the ultiame x-men version as he was a mutant with no ties to xavier. I would have liked to see a fight between him and colossus. and in general i I would have liked to have seen mroe of colossus . only because he was my favourite character.

just because leech wasnt taken away didnt mean they automatically lost all the cure's they had so rogue could have gotten it. and there wasnt just one place for them to go to get the cure so its not impossible for her to get it. I didnt think rogue's character was all that special in any of the films as she didnt live up to her full potential.

but other than all that i thought it was an amazing film. and the battle at the end was enought to make it so. brilliant effects brilliant scene and overall brilliant film.

Juggernaught was totally cool, i love Vinny!!!

I was disappointed,its was not as good as the last two. The script seemed rushed,they killed off half the damn cast and cured another half.

But it wasn't a bad movie,Id say once I get it on dvd and watch it again I will think more of it,but Ill still be disappointed because this movie could and should have been so much more,they basically p!ssed all over the X-Men mythology in the movie.

I have seen it 3 times now and still think it is ace..

X-3 was a good film, on it's own. As the third part of a trilogy.........it sucked! An extra 40 minutes would have made the film so much better. The things they skipped out would have made this film 10 times better IMO. They should have shown.....

* Mystique getting arrested at the start, her role felt too forced IMO.
* More of the love traingle, giving us a real reason for the choice Rogue made.
* Jean Grey slowly becoming Phoenix, with more of an explanation from Xavier instead of his "I don't have to exlain myself" speech.
* An explanation as to where Nightcrawler has gone.
* Cyclops' death. (Halfway through, not 15 minutes in)
* More Colossus, Rogue, Pyro, Mystique & Beast, less speeches from Magneto. (He made 4 or 5....we get the point already!)

Add some humour and a decent funeral scene to the above and you have yourself an excellent end to an excellent trilogy.....IMO opinion of course (And yes, I know it's not a happy time, but Wolverine is *always* making quips, no matter the mood)


I've been told that the chess piece at the end DID move..........am I the only one who couldn't actually tell? I just thought it was a pointlessly long scene

*Trask (the black man who works with the President) is the one who creates the Sentinels, if he hasn't done it yet then how comes the X-Men were fighting one in the danger room?

It's like Daredevil all over again, making a good film look bad by cutting it to pieces



Bring on the Extended/Director's DVD cut.

The entire Juggernaut vs Colossus fight (there were actually 2 scenes of them fighting, shown at early screenings of the movie, these have been confirmed by multiple people who attended and then posted on the SuperHero Hype boards)

Here is what one person had to say about the first scene

Magneto : "Get to the boy ... and kill him!"
Juggernaut : "About time!"
Soldiers : "Look out!"

Juggernaut continues to pummel soldiers around the field like rag-dolls. But something stands in his way.

Beast yells to Kitty : "Go get the boy!"
Kitty : "Im already on it!"
Wolverine : "Kitty ... be care" but before Wolverine can finish his sentence he gets smacked down by a fellow mutant.

Meanwhile Juggernaut and Colossus exchange looks. Kitty gets into the building and heads for the floor where Leech is on. She goes up a stairwell and goes around a corner. The scene cuts back to Juggernat and Colossus. Juggernaut gets annoyed and tells Colossus :

Juggernaut : "You'd better get outta my way tinman"

Colossus ignores the provocation and moves towards Juggernaut. Both lock there arms together and you can see the raw power of both of the mutants. But suddenly Juggernaut breaks free grabs one of the cars that are spread over the Alcatraz battle-ground. He grabs the car by the hood and smacks Colossus out of his way. Colossus slides several meters and almost knocks over a guard tower in the process. Juggernaut then jumps onto the Humvee and enters the building by jumping to the 2nd floor. Kitty sees Juggernaut jump in the building and manages to get the "upper-hand" on him.

Dont you lot find it strange that Kitty enters at the 1st floor while Juggernaut jumps 10 meters in the air and gets in on the second? Kitty was supposed to get in first but Juggernaut managed to cut her off a great deal. Thats how it went in my screening anyway

Makes sense as to why Kitty ran into the 1st floor while Juggs leaped up to the 2nd, yet they were both on the same floor when he came busting through.

Here is a description of the 2nd scene...

"Collosus Vs Jug's Describe this, where did it take place, how long..."

It was during Kitty and Juggernaut race or chase (what ever you want to call it). Kitty runs in but collosus shows up just as Juggs runs into leeches room. Collosus metals up and they par off for about 15 seconds. Then jugs hurls him toward the dirction of Leech then Collosus notices he's dearmouring. Jugs runs forward then realises he's weakened. Collosus knocks him out.


Now here are just some other missing things

"Wolverine's speech from the trailer, "You go to war, you might not come home, she might not come home, you think of that?" Iceman's response was "We're not kids anymore." So the rest of the scene must have been different if he was telling them not to go, describe it. "

Yes, Wolverine wants them to stay because there the "newbies" Then Icey says that the wont win this battle with 4 of them. Wolverine is hesitent then Ice-man says: "Look, we stand together. Were X-men. Why do you fight" (not his exact words but im paraphrasing) Wolverine looks at him and says: ".....lets go"


"Collosus speaking while metaled up: "Try it without the power of magnetism on your side" Say what? What happened in that scene?"

Collosus fights and he starts levitating (obviously wired) and he floats to magneto. Then collosus says: "try this without the power of magnetism on your side", he dearmours and collosus is about to punch magnus but gets stopped by his followers. He armours up to fight them then magneto pushes him away stupidly fast.

Bobby and Kitty actually kissing, which would've made the "love triangle" actually a triangle. Because how it was on film, it only looked like Bobby was being nice to Kitty, not in love with her. Logan at the bar which was in X-Men 1. They even cast the same bar tender from X-Men 1 in X3, he was on the call sheets. This implies that Logan started the movie somewhere else up in Canada and goes back to the school for whatever reason. This is further helped in the cut Danger Room footage which was leaked onto the web during that ShowWest dinner, where Logan has a line that says, "I'm gone a while and the whole world goes to hell!" - http://***.photobucket.com/albums/v...en%203/x120.jpg

- Rogue's mother - Goes along with alternate ending for Rogue where she does not take the cure
- Alternate ending - Rogue
- Leech in a CATSCAN like tube (shirtless)
- "Then you know what you have to do" (Trask)
- Shot of SUV flipping over and smashing into the cab of the truck with a shot from inside the truck's cab
- Jeans Firebird manifestation ( Confirmed by Kinberg / Zakk )
- Xaviers speech about Angels and Demons ( As heared in the trailer )
- Psylocke's PSI Blade ( Confirmed by Kinberg and in Wizard magazine in an interview with the actress who played her)
- Angel in the end-battle kicking other mutants asses ( As said by Ben Foster )
- The Sentinel reveal (good thing it was cut, looked like plastic) from someone who saw an early screening
- The cut Danger Room footage which was shown in the movie EXACTLY how it was on the Jay Leno clip. After the Leno clip aired, and the fans got *****, the writers of X3 said that what they showed was not the full sequence. It was chopped up to show only Logan's beats since Jackman was on Leno, it made sense to show only his stuff. But in the final movie, it was the exact same thing, so it looks like there's a few minutes missing from the Danger Room which would've also included the Sentinel reveal.

There is LOT of stuff cut that would have been amazing.

WHY would you cut a juggernaught colossus fight, its just stupid. when has there ever been a strong man battle in the comic book movies. would it have killed them to add 15 -30 more mins to the film. to add most of those scenes

i was watching spiderman and his amazing friends and juggernaut was on it and prof x and the other xmen. it said juggernaut was prof x half brother

In some versons he is, he's also not really a mutant. He's a human who gets his power from an alien crystal (according to Wikipedia )

There are two versions of the juggernaut. the 616 marvel version of him. this one achieved his power through a mystical gem called the Cyttorak. he is xaviers half brother.

then there is the other version, the ultimate version which is a mutant and not xaviers half-brother. althought just recently in the ultimate version he did again find the gem.
