Actually Lex only had hair in the first movie, he had hair in the new adventures of superman but all other incarnations of Lex have been bald. I really do wish people would stop holding up the movies and the new adventures as the benchmark for everything to be judged on.

i could never watch the lois and clark thing - was it called the adventures of lois and clark? (dont mind me my memory is really bad since i got pregnant!). but i find smallville although sometimes bad - usually really good.

Well I have never read the comics so I wouldn't know.. hence why I refer back to the Superman movies and the new adventures of Superman

thats it the new adventures of superman - my sister used to fancy him who played superman which grossed me out enough to put me off

Lex Luthor originally had red hair when the comics first came out, but a drawing mistake meant he was drawn bald, and they kept it as that. The New Adventures is one of the few (if not only) times when Lex has been potrayed with hair. Even in the Superman films, Gene Hackman played him as a bald man, but Hackman refused to shave his head. As he was a big star at the time and the sucess of the film was deemed to be influenced by Hackman appearing, they potrayed him with hair. In the first film though, when Otis is helping him out of the swimming pool, he is bald (wearing a bald cap) as he obviously wouldn't swim with a wig on.

lex with hair was a big thing last year - for me as i never seen him with hair, but some one showed me the hairy one and i realised he was in that urban scrary crap film

Hair does not do Lex justice, he is far sexier being bald [ my partner is bald too, and it suits him so much i wouldn't have him any other way].

Lex does NOT have hair in the superman films. Its a wig hes wearing as a disguise. Have you lot ever watched Superman The Movie? And YES Gene Hackman DID shave his head for the part

I must admit he looks better without hair after seeing his pic with hair.
Hey maybe next season they'll give him hair... be it his real hair or a wig.
