Justice League, another reported possible victim of the looming WGA strike, will reportedly go before cameras in early 2008.
The Guardian adds, "The WGA had been expected to join forces with the DGA [Directors Guild of America] and the SAG [Screen Actors Guild] in the summer, rather than on November 1, when its current contract with studios expires. The possible strike is over royalties from sales of movies over the internet and on DVD, which are not covered in the current deal between the various guilds." Today's Variety adds that a "possible lockout is also being discussed."
On a more important note.....why the <expletive> do rich people need to strike?
Despite, the writers being rich, most of them all live in Hollywood, L.A and there it costs about a Year's Average Job Salary just to stay in an apartment in the area for about a Month, so Yeah they might be rich to us but down there they're poor. About this Justice League Film, when I saw the Title I was thinking: "Oh this will be great, combining Christian Bale, Brandon Routh in the same Movie..." They shouldn't do this yet. First of all they should make a one of each: A Superman, Batman, Flash, Wonder-Woman Movie, with actors who will concretely and definately be redoing the roles later then cast them for the Movie, so that this way it will bring all the Fans of the other Movies together to watch One Movie. This way they will make huge profit and huge money, because Movies like Batman get a lot of money from the cinema, so to bring it all together .... see where I'm headed: Happy Fans; Happy Production Crew $$$

It looks like its going to be a good film, by the way niwdog according to empire I think that bradon routh is out of the picture to play superman, so there has been some speculation that this means that Tom Welling may have a shot.

Its a possiblitiy I mean if they are indeed goign on stirke he could have used it to try and persuade gough and millar to let him have a crack at the big movie, but I am not sure I dont think that would haev happened and will be pissed off because now there will be just some random guy who played superman once and is jjust boring because he will be a one time superman and there may never be a sequel sowhat is the point, if they were going to do that they could have at least used a gut like tome woh has been bascially working up to a bigger role, I mean his Clark Kent is the best, why not give him a shot at the whole thing.

The cast of Warner Bros.' live-action Justice League of America movie is expected to be unveiled next week, but new reports claim to reveal several actors who have been cast in the George Miller-directed project. According to both Ain't It Cool News and IESB.net, previously reported contenders Adam Brody (The O.C.), Common (American Gangster), Teresa Palmer (Wolf Creek) and Scott Porter (TV's Friday Night Lights) have won roles in the film. Brody is said to be playing Wally West, a.k.a. The Flash, opposite Common as John Stewart, the Green Lantern. IESB says that, contrary to earlier reports, Palmer is not going to play Wonder Woman but rather one of the film's villains, Talia Al Ghul. Talia is the daughter of Ra's Al Ghul, portrayed by Liam Neeson in Batman Begins. AICN claims Porter might be playing Superman, but IESB counters by saying, "our sources are telling us that he was up for the role of The Flash against Adam Brody and obviously Brody won out, we've heard nothing about him being cast as Superman." Barry Allen, the original Flash, is reportedly in the movie. Might Porter have been cast as him instead of Wally West? Or perhaps he's playing Batman? We'll know soon enough. AICN's source also adds that "Michael Gough might be appearing as Alfred." Gough played Batman's faithful butler in the Tim Burton-Joel Schumacher Bat-films.

Brody as the flash, you have got to be kidding me, thats a joke I think ryan renolds could have beena better choice for him, as for Scott as Suprman, oh dear GOD, that would be the ultimate flop of casting but this common guy, I must say he most certainly looks the part of old John Stuart. This has to be a joke.........it has to be. Keep in mind that Warner Bros. has yet to reveal any cast members, but this is a list of names Superhero Hype! received over the weekend as to who might be cast in Justice League. Yes, we realize the much rumored Adam Brody is not listed here as The Flash. Our answer? We just don't know what's up, plain and simple: Superman - D.J. Cotrona Batman - Armie Hammer Wally West/The Flash - Anton Yelchin Aquaman - Santiago Cabrera Iris - Zoe Kazan Wonder Woman - Megan Gale Talia al Ghul - Teresa Palmer Green Lantern - Common We must repeat, the above names are not confirmed. They might not be confirmed for a while, because a new article talking about the writers strike at The Hollywood Reporter says that Justice League might not be as sure of a thing as it seems: At Warner Bros., "Justice League of America" finds itself without a shooting script and has options expiring on potential actors who recently were screen tested. As a result, it might have to postpone production.

Bloody Hell, The superman guy, bares about 1 100th of a resemblance to any of the Suprman incarnations, the batman guy is completely ga* looking compared to other incarnations and no way could he be serious enough to pull it off, I think the aquaman one is completely different looking to the cartoon or comic versions but not sure, not that much of a fan, and the flash, are you kidding me. Wonder Woman on the toher hand, who ever she is, she is peng and might just have a chance unless she is another one of those models whose career is going in the toilet and is trying to move into film now.
