Apparaently it has been rated 2 stars in America, but then critics also said that beowulf was awesome when it is actualy the biggest load of sh!t ever to have been made, you would want to die seriously.

The trailers were enough to put me off of Beowulf.

My god, the twa! mudt say that a billion times in this crap fest of a film, and the damn thing reads like a bloody macbeth story line, the only hight light to any Jolie fans is that she appears completely naked in 3D, but even that aint enough to make that pile of crap a decent film. 2 and a half hours of wasted life is what you are in for if you watch it.

So no where near as good as 300 then?

If any one were to even try to out them two movies into the same sentence with the word comparison in then they should be shot.

I went to see Hitman on friday last week, that was pretty good.

For the role of Batman – arguably one of the greatest superheroes of history – Armie Hammer. He has only released movie to his credit, and one-shot appearances on Arrested Development, Veronica Mars and Desperate Housewives. Hardly what you would call a man – who looks like Elijah Wood with 5 years added – ready for the roll of Bruce Wayne.

My depression continues – despite being a fellow Aussie – when Megan Gale was confirmed as Wonder Woman. With a credit as “Dr. Orbit's Secretary” in Stealth under her belt, and a modeling career dating back eight years, she was the obvious choice! Right? Sure, she has the bust to fill out the fan favorite Wonder Woman bust, but, coming in at only 5’10”, I’m not quite sure she’s tall enough.



This film is going to suck beyond belief............

god da,mm it, I have seen her as she will be replacing katie holmes in the new batman movie, the dark knight, i can not wait for that but honestly she looks way to old for the role and not sure about her bust but, ninjy is right about the hieght, they are so stupid, the gayest and least known actors are just being thrown into any role if they have the same hair colour or something, some one should correct me if i am wrong but I think that films makers were supposed to put effort into finding the best actors for every role, I mean MY GOD.

Heath Ledger is playing the joker.

Yeh, I know,I dont think he will be that bad actually, It must have been that massive grin of his that got him the part but a jack nicholson equal he can neevr be. He was far to good.

It would be interesting to see how Heath Ledger stacks up to jack nicholson though, I think that in this one they are taking the joker back to his orginal sociopathic roots.

Apparently there are some articles that are saying that from what we have seen so far of trailers, it looks like ledger might be stealing the focus of the film from bale, I hope not.

Most of the (unconfirmed) cast of Warners' live-action Justice League of America movie have reportedly arrived in Sydney, Australia to shoot the George Miller-directed film, even as the production itself has been delayed due to the ongoing writers' strike.

According to News.com.au, "most of the cast members are already here [in Sydney]. They include Knocked Up star Jay Baruchel, who also plays one of the film's bad guys."

The site adds that Teresa Palmer, whom they report is playing villainess Talia Al Ghul, has yet to arrive, but Megan Gale (said to be playing Wonder Woman) "is now in full training mode."

An alleged insider informed News.com.au that the JLA production is "a big shambles." Many of the crew haven't returned from their break in order to resume pre-production at Fox Studios since the script still needs work and that can't be done until the strike ends.

maybe it is for the best, it looks like it is going to be a bit of a flop, and will probably be a big disapointment for a lot of fans.

I aren't making any judgements until i see the film and it's way too early to start writing it off yet. There's nothing wrong with unknown actors, look at brandon routh or hugh jackman, no one had hard of them before they played superman or wolverine and they were both amazinng!I wouldn't want some big Hollywood star because then you'd just be watching brad pitt or whoever and not superman; they can make the character their own!

Thats true jonny, its just that with all thats been happening in the movie business of late, with the strikes and all, it just seems that this movie maty not live up to expectations, what with Routh who as you siad was fantastic as supermna, and Bale not playing batman, they are just changin too many things i think.

Bale is a great batman, i can't wait to see dark knight. It would have been interesting to see tom welling as superman though.

I know, cloud haev you seenn the trailer, it looks sick, and ledger looks luike he has definately got this JOKER act down, although i supose we shall now have to see who is the better, good old Nicholson or the new boy, you never know, as I thought Keaton was the best bat, that was until Bale smashed it with Batman Begins.
