Looks like Brainiac will be returning. James Marsters commented at a convention that his upcoming work included a possible return to Smallville. Rather surprising considering the things he said about Miller and Gough last year. Won't be until later in the series if it happens though, as he's currently filming an arc on Without a Trace.
I have to say this season really doesn't sound too good so far. If the Zoners were the best hope we had for some decent action, what will we be left with now they are gone? Hopefully Lex's army will make an appearence soon, otherwise it's going to be the same old rubbish.......
Also, Jor-El tells Clark that Barbie-El might be evil, so he won't be doing his training any time soon.
From what i have read season seven will have a big dose of clana (a fact the american viewer is up in arms about )they seem to have a problem with superman having an elicit affair with a married woman !.Also lex will continue to develope 33.1 aided by a character played by dean cain.Lois will finally get a reporters job at the planet thanks to an affair she has with the new editor.That should keep em going for at least half a season!.

This is sounding quite good I think, and I love the way they have managed to bring in all the previously invoved superman casts etc, onyl Teri Hatcher left now lol, it will be interesting to see Dean Caine play the baddie though, he was a "alright" superman, I thought his CK was much better though, a hint of the bumbling film fool, but mostly dominated by s stronger side we never see in the movies, they could learn something from his CK i think.
