Being reading up and coming storylines and it seems the clana will last well into the latter stages of season seven,the big difference i think will be clark realising he can never grow old with someone and that will be the catalist in this storyline.

Ah yes, the whole age dilema, this happened in the new adventures if I recall right, back in the day lol, Lois was worried because professor Klien told her that "I think its sadfe to say that while were old and slower hell still be in his prime, fighting for truth justice and the american way." lol listen to me, I am making it out as if im an old man lol, well I am sure he said some thing along those lines, because of Clarks Super dense structure his ageing process is much slower then that of normal human beings.

I thought that he was immortal or something? I mean there have been plenty of hints like when johnathen was recovering from his op and he said to clark about him not having to face his mortality and when the guy who could see how people die touched clark he just saw the famous red cape and endless space.

You might think, yes your right cloud there have been many hints suggesting such a fate for clark, in that he is immortal, however, I wouldn't imagine so, I mean time does really affect every one, that is unless you can control it, but no I would think that time can effect Superman just as magic does, no I would say that he could possibly live to be some thing out rageous like 1000 and then time might take him, also there have been many cartoon versions if I remember correctly from my youth in which some kid dc hero goes into the future and Superman has become the ultimate symbol for peace and justice, and ulitmately just a legend in all. But then these would have to suggest that he had to have dies some time, as they built monuments to remember him. Not to forget that in one of the very much older comics, Doomsday actually kileld Superman, but as usual, he was reborn through some miracle, but the point is he did die. Sorry about the long post.

Good theory, in one of the episodes in I think it was in season 2 there was an old blind woman who could see the future. When she touched clark he was alone in the middle of a huge grave yard, then latter he told johnathen about it and clark was worried thatit meant that he would out last every one he cares about.

Ah yes I remember that one well, that old woman new about clark from that and she died opf showck I think when she touched lex, that wasa nice touch I thought.

Yet another well known DC Comics superhero will be appearing on Smallville, as Black Canary makes her first appearance in an episode airing later this season. Smallville executive producer Al Gough confirmed the news with TVGuide.com, revealing the character will show up in the January 10th episode.

Black Canary will be played by Alaina Huffman (Painkiller Jane). Her debut episode will also feature the return of Green Arrow (Justin Hartley), who was a popular addition to the series last year. In the comics Black Canary and Green Arrow have a long romantic history, which Smallville will play with by initially having them as antagonists.

With Green Arrow's Justice League team causing problems for Luthor, he orders Black Canary to get rid of the bow and arrow wielding crime fighter. As Gough puts it to TVGuide.com, Luthor lets it be known "if you can bring me the head of the Green Arrow, I'll make it very much worth your while." However, Gough adds there are "sparks" between Green Arrow and Black Canary in the midst of the story.

Like in the comics, Smallville's Black Canary is a martial arts expert and has a sonic scream -- or "Canary Cry" -- power. TVGuide.com promises that she will also be wearing the fishnet stockings that have become a trademark for the character.

This will actually be the second television incarnation of Black Canary to exist since Smallville debuted. The short-lived 2002 WB series Birds of Prey featured a young character, Dinah, who was based on Black Canary in some respects, though she never used that name or abilities. The series eventually introduced her mother (played by Lori Loughlin), who was a more direct Black Canary adaptation, complete with a modified version of her comic book powers, though they were used through whistling, not screaming.

Oh yes, I read this articl,e I like the fact that they are trying to get a few more better recoognised DC characters in smallville, but I mean, come on, at least try adn get a young bruce wayne or some thing, adn drop like a shed load of hints as to the both of them working together, they could solve a crime, I think that would be wuite good, but I still like the Black Canary angle, at least they have done some good characters so far, eg flash, cyborg adn AQ man.

damn, now that I kow it is there, that will be even harder to try not to watch. I really have tried my hardest just to stay away from the Titan fight and I have succeeded so far, but I guess Brainiac returning was always inevitable as he is supposed to be like the number 2 villian next to Lex in the future Superman Mythology, then Bizarro, Parasite etc. etc.

I wonder if Fine will try to release Zod again.

well i dont think so as Zod has failed to take over the world and kill clark so he might try it himself!
