THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS PERFORM AT LEX'S COSTUME BALL – Still guilt-ridden about the destruction he caused while he was Zod, Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) throws a charity costume ball for the town and hires the All-American Rejects to perform. Meanwhile, Clark (Tom Welling) and Chloe (Allison Mack) pursue a creature who uses male human bodies as potting mix to procreate, and the hunt intensifies after the creature gets hold of Jimmy Olsen (guest star Aaron Ashmore). Lois (Erica Durance) reluctantly agrees to be Oliver Queen's (guest star Justin Hartley) date to Lex’s ball. Also, Lex gets kidnapped and shot.....again.....probably......before getting amnesia.....again......probably.

basically it felt like FoW episode for those that don't what that stand for 'Freak of the week'-So now that smallville move on to Alien i ask myself when we going see other Alien appear in future episode. i wasn't a big fan at start of earlier season freak of the week and their strange power of Evil.

i am not fan of lana and lex but i guessing i'm not the only one that wanted her die in season 5-why clark reversed the time i don't get apart from saving her.

I also not a fan of Oliver because he just as arrogant as Lex in fact they could be brothers in sense how familar they are. i don't like him i think that either actor fault or writing team-we both writing team needs help.

Oliver Queen is a mixture of Bruce Wayne (wealth, dead parents etc..) and Robin Hood.......sounds cool in theory, but so far he's just a boring git who can't act for $h!t.

Smallville once again skiped the oppertunity of a decent fight and went straight for the easy finish.....hopefully they'll do more with the remaining 5 escapees.

1 moment that shocked me though.

This was definately the weakest episode so far, although that says more about the strength of the first two.

Have to agree with you about Oliver Queen, just an annoying *****. Basically another AquaMan "Let's cast someone as a love interest for Lois just to infuriate everyone." Just like Aquaman his 'power' is rubbish, he can't act, he's annoying, he can't act, he robs from the rich and gives to the poor, yet still retains a rather wealthy lifestyle himself and he can't act.

While in theory I liked the idea of the PZ villains making havoc, I assumed that they would have better agendas rather than reforestation of the earth. At least that's one down and 5 to guy for Clark to duel with. I'm assu*** that the rest will have a big head to head later in the series with Clark et al.

Honestly not a massive fan of Jimmy Olsen either. They seem to have characterised him with a backbone, which is rather strange.

Sort of looking forward to the next episode. Hopefully Clark will kick Green Arrows arse, and Lex and his black box. Lets just hope it tracks alpha waves.

yeh not a great episode, they should have cut some of the scenes so that there could be a better fight between clark and his enemy!

Also why hasn't lionel told clark that hes started to write signs again? hopefully the next episode will be better, the Zod thing deffinetly should have been longer, but maybe some of the kryptonians that came with him will hold a bigger challenge
