I do not think to smallville as he was really when looking at it reall Brainiac who was Supermans number 2 enemy in the myths after Lex Luthor, So no perhaps he was just in smallville for the season 5 but I would like him to return for a while and then clark can kick his ass with super breath as well lol, but no I do not trhink he will be coming back unfortuneately.
