many months i have been scanning this website to find out when smallville starts 5. yesterday i used my head and E-mailed the people at whats on TV and they said
"I'm the features ed at What's On TV. I've been passed your email query about Smallville. Season 5 is due to screen here on E4 on January 9. So far there is no date for it being shown on Channel 4, but it probably will be eventually - the first part of the year is taken up with Celebrity Big Brother on Channel 4."
Can't wait for season5 on E4, even though I've downloaded it and seen whats happened so far..... but hell! it will be good to see it on a big screen with perfect quality and full episodes (some of my downloads the episodes were badly cut Lexmas in particular)
Not sure when Season5 will air on Channel4, since they havent shown season 4 as far as I remember.
As that is the case, those who cant get E4 should ask Santa for a freeview box for Christmas!

At last ! The information I needed and just in the nick of time. I might have arrived home late on Monday and never known. How long has it been ..... ?
Just to help, those who haven't seen any of season 4 yet will not be disappointed in my view!!!
I've downloaded all of season 5 so far (boooo to Mid Series American breaks) but still really looking forward to seeing it again for a second time, or in some episodes, third time.

I've currently got disk 2 of series 5 of West Wing in my player because C4 shafted those of us who refused to pay for E4 (and series 6 is on the shelf unwrapped) - Hey, I've got better things to do than sit in front of the Toppy all night...
I now have to go out and buy 4 & 5 of Smallville because they're soo bloody minded that they are putting two fingers up to all those of us who refuse to pay through the nose for shitty wall-to-wall telly in the hope of getting anything half decent.
NOT A HAPPY BUNNY !
Grr Arrghh! (and don't get me started on what they did with Angel!)
