Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) discovers that Professor Fine, aka Brainiac (guest star James Marsters) is in Honduras and sets out to confront him. Clark meets a beautiful seductress named Simone who uses a magical charm to make people succumb to her every wish. An enchanted Clark reveals his powers to Simone, who seizes the opportunity and demands that Clark kill Lex.
Still distraught over her break-up with Clark (Tom Welling), Lana (Kristin Kreuk) experiments with a dangerous serum that allows her to flat-line and see her deceased parents again. A worried Clark rushes to save Lana from hurting herself, but ends up being injected with the kryptonite-laced serum by a rogue doctor (Patrick Currie). When Clark flat-lines, he is able to talk to his father, recently deceased Jonathan (John Schneider), who warns him that Lionel (John Glover) knows his secret..(James Marsters also appears)

Oh my God! are you kidding me? Are they just ripping off Flatliners??? Ugh...

03/29 - [Both Zod and Jor-El] will pop up in the season finale — but they won't be who we think they are. And here's another finale superscoop: Lois and another major character will end up on an airplane that's locked in autopilot — and there's only one person who knows where it's headed. (Hint: He looks like a platinum-topped vampire we once knew and loved.) This season's cliff-hanger will revolve around a huge choice Clark must make. And it doesn't involve anyone whose name starts with L.

yes and has to decide whether him or lex has to do the deed. it could rewrite the christmas episode - from a nightmare to a dream come true 'hot lexmas pokers'
Season Five's actual finale title is "Bizarro," and it features a new take on the classic Superman comics legend. In the episode, the show's main characters are replaced with Goth-looking duplicates who act the total opposite from the way they are supposed to be. Everyone hates Lana (That's no different to this reality!!!), Lois is smart, Clark puts people in danger purposely, and Lex Luthor and Chloe Sullivan are adored by all.
"We're using Bizarro, because, like, it gives us a chance to make the characters act different, because we never do that," Al Gough said in a recent interview.
Despite this derailment into meteor freak land, the episode's plot DOES tie in to the storylines at the end of the fifth season. What does cloning have to do with Milton Fine's master plan? Watch and see....

Christopher Eccleston is NOT playing Zod, Brandon Routh won't be on Smallville and Tom won't be in Superman Returns, and as far as we know, there won't be an Aquaman cross-over next season. "Bizarro" is a figment of our imagination, and right now, comics' Lois Lane really is just Lois Lane. And Annette O'Toole is naturally beautiful, not a member of some secret society (that we know of!) BIG thanks to Chiriru for the incredibly awesome Bizarro and Superman Returns images.

The KryptonSite Spoilers Page has already revealed an appearance from beyond the grave for John Schneider (Jonathan) in the season's 17th episode, "Void," which airs in April. But, an interview with John Glover at Zap2It.com reveals that Schneider will be making a second return appearance. Here's what Glover had to say on the interview, apparently conducted from the Smallville set:
"He's here today, actually," Glover says. "There's a nice twist to who he is in this episode. He's made a couple appearances. There was some Krypton-ese thing where he comes back. This is his second appearance after that."
Fan speculation has Jonathan's second return appearance pegged as being in the season's 21st episode, "Oracle," though this has not been confirmed.
Hmmmmmmm............

They could just be trying to make us think that they are not true, when they really are true but they dont want us to think that they are true cos they are trying to fool us..... i think, erm im even more confused now damn it
I see I Agree to the Terms of Service fell for the April Fools Prank too. The Chris Eccleston one got me, but I'd caught on by the time I read the 'Bizarro' one. If you look at the mock up poster of the episode, it actually doesn't say 'Fresh New Episode' as usual, it actually says 'Old and Tired' I think. That's why I only reposted the Zod one, as it was the only one that could be real.
Still, last year, Kryptonsite site did a prank about Aquaman appearing and getting his own show......
"One must be a fox in order to recognize traps, and a lion to frighten off wolves."
