That wasn't particularly hard though. Season 4 was easily the worst.

i personally think that this was a bad season , although it produced around about 10 good episodes out of the 22 i thought that it produce a good few stinkers (THIRST) aswell,i think that seasons 1 , 2 and 3 were brilliant with not a bad episode amongst them but sason 4 and 5 were not all that good, lets hope that season 6 carry's on the good form that we had in season 3 which for was the best season

Hey Krypto, I'm afraid I have to dissagree with you. IMHO, season 5 was by far the best season of Smallville. I can only think of a handfull of poor episodes, while season 1-3 had quite a few sub-par episodes falling back on the old Freak of the Week format. Season 4 was mostly very poor, with only the odd gem in an otherwise wasted season. Also, I thought season 5 was a wee bit more suited to someone of my age group- BRG is slightly older than the teenage target audience of Smallville. So while I enjoy all the Superman stuff, I found the teen drama side of the show a bit of a drag at times. Now that they are all at college, it just less like a kids show. BRG

The first 2 seasons are my favourite, I don't really like season 3 that much compared to them. Season 4 is the one I know the least, because its the only one that I haven't seen every episode of, but I thought season 5 was pretty good - better than season 3.

I dunno, the spoilers make it sound like everything will be - in true Smallvile fashion - back to normal in episode 2
