What an inspiring person, and what a great headteacher.

It's not just systems that matter - it's having the right people to carry them through. Lynna has got what it takes by the bucketload.

I predict a great future for Monteagle school - congratulations to her, her staff and all the pupils.

Exactly. It would be so easy to give up on a failing school where a small number of the parents were portrayed as dumping all responsibility for their child's welfare on the school rather than take any themselves.

But Lynna Thompson seemed to realise how great the problem was, and actually do something about it, and maintain that enthusiasm and dedication for the whole year.

A really uplifting programme by the end. And my mother and I both want a Peter Jackson of our own. What an individual!

I know I am a bit late replying to this, but I taped this program and have just watched the last one. WOW I was SO happy that Monteagle school won the Poetry Comp!!!! .....
I had goosebumps as I watched the group and especially Peter do what they did!!!
What an achievement for the school to have got everyones reading better as they did!!!
