and i think you forgot three kings and armageddon, the bit at the end when bruce willis is sayin goodbye to his daughter is one of the saddest things i'v ever seen
Greyfriars Bobby (I think that's what it was called). Champions (A Love Story) - about 2 ice skaters. Black Beauty - various points had me snivelling. Highlander - when she is dying and asks him to light a candle for her, "Who Wants To Live Forever" playing in the background.
i adore 'who wants to live forever' I remember when the song came out and I was completely awestruck. I forgot about immortal beloved. Saddest bit was when the letter was finally read out in the end - all that love and yearning It didn't surprise me to find Oldman and Rosselini got together after that.
"My father had a profound influence on me. He was a lunatic" *Meet the new boss...Same as the old boss*
People knock Titanic now but I still stand by it and think it is very good, the story is incredibaly sad, you have to be a stone not to show any form of emotion.
'You begin to realise very quickly that the world is full of sods' Sir Sean Connery
I find the end of A Bridge Too Far pretty moving - from the wounded soldiers singing Abide With Me to Kate Der Horst walking out of her shelled house to find that her garden has become a cemetary.
greatest tearjerker for me is "The saint of fort washington" only seen it once and have looked for it everywhere as I would love to own a copy but cant find it or anyone whose even heard of it
