Greyfriars Bobby (I think that's what it was called).
Champions (A Love Story) - about 2 ice skaters.
Black Beauty - various points had me snivelling.
Highlander - when she is dying and asks him to light a candle for her, "Who Wants To Live Forever" playing in the background.

i adore 'who wants to live forever' I remember when the song came out and I was completely awestruck.
I forgot about immortal beloved. Saddest bit was when the letter was finally read out in the end - all that love and yearning Frown It didn't surprise me to find Oldman and Rosselini got together after that.

People knock Titanic now but I still stand by it and think it is very good, the story is incredibaly sad, you have to be a stone not to show any form of emotion.

I find the end of A Bridge Too Far pretty moving - from the wounded soldiers singing Abide With Me to Kate Der Horst walking out of her shelled house to find that her garden has become a cemetary.

2 films that choke me up everytime that were not on the list were:-

1. West Side Story - where Tony is dying in Maria's arms and she tearfully starts singing to him 'There's a place for us...'

2. The Outsiders - where Johnny is on his deathbed and tells his best mate Ponyboy to 'stay gold'.
