What film has the greatest ending,It can be for any reason why u think its the greatest.

My fave endin has to be,
Saw: In the first one wen the dude slams the door shut lockin the other dude inside (and in Saw 2 the dead body is still there)

Revenge of the Sith. Owen and Beru Lars recieve luke and look at at the twin suns. Mirroring a similar scene from A New Hope.

Return of the Jedi. Darth Vader is redeemed and turns on the Emperor and throws him down the shaft.

This has been done too many times but never mind

Casablanca, "This could be the start of abeautiful relationship". Throat, lumpp, you know.

Planet of the Apes... That ending was amazing.

The one with Donald Sutherland. I think it was the first movie I saw where the bad guys won so it's stuck in my mind.

I thought American Beauty had a weird ending, one that I wasn't expecting.

How about the classic feelbad ending of Seven : "What's in the box? WHAT'S IN THE BOX???".
Or the shock, never-expected-that ending of Arlington Road.
Or the blink-and-you'll-miss-it (if indeed there is anything to miss) twist of Cache (which is more or less revealed in the closing credits).
Or the heart-breaking conclusion to Manon Des Sources.
Or the decidedly perverse ending to Oldboy.

Casablanca, no contest.

The Shawshank Redemption ranks very highly for me.

ROFL. I'm ashamed to admit it, but me too

I love the end of Brassed Off when Pete Postlethwaite made his speech about "how people matter" after the band won the national competition. It always makes me cry.
