I absoltuley love musicals and have so many favs! A few of them are: Cats Jesus Christ Superstar Footloose Sound of Music Les Miserables Miss Siagon Phantom of the Opera Starlight Express... the list is endless, lol
The Disappearing Hobbit! ----------------- Now, listen carefully. Lord Denethor is Boromir's father. To give him news of his beloved son's death would be most unwise. And do not mention Frodo, or the Ring. And say nothing of Aragorn either. In fact, it's better if you don't speak at all, Peregrin Took. Do you hear the people sing, Singing the song of angry men, it is the music of the people who will not be slaves again, when the beating of your hearts, echos the beating of the drums, there is a life about to start when tomorrow comes! There goes the cavalry... but who will rescue the rescuers? Having dallied with the mortals, the gods return to Mount Olympus. And So I follow! ----------------- Sorry I havn't been online much, blame Willow!

Les Mis is the daddy of Musicals (only my opinion) but for musical films, which is what I suppose is being discussed... Grease West Side Story Seven Brides for Seven Brothers would top my list

I think the best musical i have ever seen is one that didn't feature on the top 100 list, probably because it is quite new. Going by the name of "Wicked", it's the tale of how the witches of OZ came to be Glinda the good witch and Elphaba the wicked witch of the west.It has some of the most incredible songs and is a really stunning musical!! It's comming to England in September so go book tickets!!
