My buddy has said 'If' is a good one. I have never seen it personally, but he told me that the same guy Malcolm Macdowell is in it from Clockwork Orange. He is obsessed with all the new releases too, and ironically he said that I should buy the Uk version bc it comes with an exclusive screenplay, and some postcards compared to the US version. But I Dunno.. anyone tell me if the movie is good? and BTW...what's typically in a screenplay?
If is really good, set in a school, high jinks etc... i don't know what you mean by whats in a screenplay... a screenplay is the written for film version of a story, like the da vinci code (awful) had a book, then the screenplay, then the film.
Clerks is awesome tho, my favourite cult movie, shame clerks 2 was a media mainstream piece of shit, wasn't it :P Also for pure anti-linear genius, go for Eraserhead by David Lynch, never will you be more confused :P
The Big Blue. Its one of my all time favourites. Luc Besson directs, Jean-Marc Barr, Jean Reno & Rosanna Arquette stars. It's a beautifully filmed movie. The underwater sequences are quite amazing. Reno is brilliant along with Jean-Marc Barr. Basically its a story about free diving based around the life of Jacques Mayol, a legendary figure in the sport. Arquette provides the love interest and plays it perfectly. Its a must see movie for cult/art film lovers, IMHO.
