Frown there are sooooooooo many, but I LOVE, Nino Rota's music for Romeo and Juliet (1968). It is haunting and has been used in so many ad's probably without people realising what it is and do NOT get me started on the old Radio 1 prog's, mushy corner where this music was used!!!! Like you, I also love ANY of the Terminator tracks.. Big Grin

I did a play last yr of 'Romeo and Juliet' and we used music from 'Gladiator's'. I thought that was a beautiful soundtrack, never seen the film though!

I think the best soundtrack to a film is Reservoir Dogs'.

The music in the Ear Cutting sceen (Super Sounds of the Sixties) is matched perfectly and adds that special 'Something' as the camera turns away.

p.s. Little Green Bag is an ace track as well.

What did annoy me was the recent dance track which butchered "Cry Little sister" by Gerard Mcmann!

I love "Beauty has her way" by Mummy calls

I know what you want
I know what you need
Better than you do
I know why you came
I promise you

I know where you go
I know what you do
Better than you do
When nothing remains
I come to you

Sometimes she shines, and I know
Beauty has her way
With her hooks and her grace
Beauty has her way
Lights down, we drown, and I know
Beauty has her way
This plain day
Beauty has her way

The trembling lengths
The conquering touch
Everything to you
And into your flame
I'll follow you

Where all wishes twist
And bitter they kiss
Everything to you
In doorways and dreams
I run to you

Sometimes she shines, and I know
Beauty has her way
With her hooks in your face
Beauty has her way
Lights down, we drown, and I know
Beauty has her way
This plain day
Beauty has her way

I know what you want
I know what you need
I know where you go
I know what you do

Sometimes she shines, and I know
Beauty has her way
This plain day
Beauty has her way

I know what you want
I know what you need
Better than you do
I know why you came
I promise you

It only featured on the film briefly, sadly Frown

The only reasonable track was George Thorogood's "Bad to The Bone" the rest was run of the mill conveyor belt rock.

The soundtrack to Meet Joe Black is pretty good, nice and chilled.... but the one that I like the best has to be Top Gun!

Best composed: Edward Scissorhands (that music is so beautiful it makes me cry), Best compiled: Shrek. And Grease gets a mention as well.

Ooooh, there are soo many good ones! I like the Notting Hill soundtrack.
I agree that The Lost Boys one is great!! Big Grin

My favourite song from a film though, would have to be "Don't want to miss a thing" by Aerosmith, from Armagedon.

Oh and Moulin Rouge too....Ah, I could go on for ages....

Spreading the Carby Love

I spend 23 hours a day wondering whether we’re wrong for each other, wondering whether the baggage we both bring would be enough to sink a small ship...But in the 24th hour, I realise I’ve been thinking about her for 23 hours and it always comes back to, there's something about her that I can’t stay away from. Something about her, that makes me wanna…love her.

Oooh i love the song Annie Lennox did for LOTR that was fab, and all of the Harry Potter music love that, but the best for me is the POTC soundtrack that rocks! Oh and I love Des're's song for Romeo and Juliet which has the intensely fabulous violin and string intsrumental in the middle that was used for Euro 2004 adverts love that piece of music.
