Imo, the best music video ever is Bad by Michael Jackson..it's just perfect. MJ is so hot in that video too.

Why oh why does Channel 4 insist on having these "100 Greatest" shows?? Who the hell cares what is the best "war film" or "music video"?? I've lost count how many of these shows has been on! Perhaps C4 will next come up with: "The 100 Greatest "100 Greatest tv shows" programmes!! Far too often when they put these shows on, theres too much talking by these so-called celebrities giving their opinions, and not enough footage!! When theres music on - play the whole damn track - not hear what some "comedian" or reality tv contestant has to say on what they think about it!! And who the hell votes for these "lists" anyway?? Theres no such thing as the "Greatest" song, film , comedy moment, etc. Everything is down to ones own personal choice. Just because many may like a particular thing - it doesnt mean to say its everybody elses fav!! If C4 will insist of broadcasting these shows, e.g. Music Albums, dont bother doing a poll, axe all the chit-chat plus all the presenters, and have a show where theres JUST footage and NOTHING else!

I totally agree! I think this concept was a good idea at the time (a nice trip down memory lane etc...) but after seven years or so. This type of programing is just simply annoying. Even when a program is made.... With in three years it is out of date... But then never the less the same best of, is repeated all the same. Can't for example channel four show the film or comedy program as part of a best of season?

I love the Daft Punk videos... The simple videos are the best, like Marcella Detroit's I Believe.

Haven't seen that one Rob, but you're right, the simple ideas are the best.

I remember Godley and Creme being on the old Terry Wogan chat show and he asked them where they got the idea for the video.

Their answer?

Drugs!! Went down like a lead balloon at 7pm on the Beeb Big Grin

I have seen I Believe on YouTube Recently (most B&W videos do) and another video from the 90's is Moloko's The Fipside. Quite mad. But quite funny.
