I saw Audrey Hepburn and Shirley Maclaine in "The Childrens Hour" and thought they gave good performances considering they were trying to play roles that no hollywood actress had attempted before.

I dont like Uma Thurmans face it looks cold, and ugly, Bette Davis, Barbara Stanwyck, Joan Fontaine.. Olivia de Haviland, Doris Day (underestimated) Shelley Winters, Margaret Rutherford. Joyce Grenfell, Hatti Jacques , all different but all good , and many more

dont rate Streep at all, never did like her, or Laura Dern she overacts, Rita was more of a glamour girl like Liz Taylor , but suppose theres a place for them there, of cours Bette Davis has to be tops there.
