Ford Cortina Mark 2. Old 'G' reg. 1968. Fitted with tuned 3.1 Capri 'Essex' V6 engine, with around 200 bhp.
Low for 2008, but high for a Cortina Mark 2!

I was speaking to George about it. The engine has the usual-for-it's-day modifications.

Triple twin-choke Weber carburettors.
Piper Camshafts.
Gas-flowed heads.
Janspeed full exhaust and manifolds.

It's a little high geared, but goes well, all the same.
Externally, it looks standard, apart from twin exhausts and a slight bonnet bulge.

Is that a Cortina 'Savage'? Smile

Does it have furry dice hanging on the rear view mirror and tiger skin seat covers? Ninja

I used to have a Cortina Mk5 2.0 Ghia! Always wanted the 2.3 V6 though.

Don't do tv and have never even heard of that programme. TV's a waste of time, well, 90% of it is.
