A car that can be, or could have been, bought in the local high street? I love the Enzo and the XKR. The 1969-1977 Corvette and the E Type V12, amongst countless others.

But one car? Enzo.
it always amazes me how peoples taste are so different..i find the enzo to be a comical, ugly, almost alien like caricature of a supercar....yet the zonda is also not 'traditionally beautiful' but i love it....
..most beautiful road car iv seen with my own eyes is the citroen sm....strange, this debate is going on in other forums too....the traction avant too is a gorgeously perfectly proportioned car...the most beautiful saloon car ever for me...a car i owned, the gloriously elegant pinifarina restyle of the jag xj6/12, the series 3 xj6/12....
yet sometime, functional beauty catches my eye...i find a wilys jeep, an original panda, a 2cv, renault 4 or the original two door range rover to be as aesthetically pleasing as the more traditional beautys..picture a car that you can neither add nor remove a single detail to improve it and i can almost gaurantee it will be a form following function style icon rather than an overstyled design queen..
Most people would agree with my choice of Enzo. It's a big part of the reason that, whilst most supercars are losing you £300 and somethimes £700 a week in depreciation, the Enzo has made someone we know in Paris £200,000 (!!!) already. It's a stunningly good looking car.

DB9, XKR or E type also drop dead gorgeous....
no, the saloon..the series 3, not the series 1/2....perfectly proportioned, wonderfully elegant..i love em...and come on b, the enzo appreciates in value cos it was only alloted to ferrari approved customers from new, you couldnt walk in off the street andbuy one..it has the pedigree of the f40, f50 and, for me the most beautiful ferrari supercar of modern times, the 288 gto..
..it wasnt a 'normal' supercar, it was a special order car built by the most revered car maker in the world to celebrate its birthday, and as such has a cache of excitment and interest about it that few other car manufacturers can match...hell, even the prety universally derided f50 appreciated in price just cos of what it was rather than how it looked...
Actually that is fair comment, but i have seen several Enzos and have also been given a lift in one, in Paris in 2007. I am judging the car as i see it and i was just staggered by the exterior, the interior, the gearchange was unbelievable, the engine was an absolute gem and it just sat there afterwards on the guy's drive, as if saying "i a very special car". IMO.
One of my customers has a brand new Gran Turismo in Sevenoaks (not far from Lee Bowyers old pad). I had a good look around it, and it is absolutely stunning. The Ferrari garage near by has both an Enzo and a F40 in the showroom, with the Maserati section to the side.

I could've worded that much better sorry... I meant I've never seen one in the flesh. Looks stunning in photos/on the net. I've loved this car for years!

They've still got that same Quattroporte for sale! Business may be a mite slow it seems.
With it losing £200 a week in value, i wonder if they'd accept a silly offer?!
They have 3 at present: Sport GT Auto 07/57, 1000 miles at £88K Sport GT Duoselect 06/56 . 7000 miles at £60K Duoselect 04/54 , 12,000 miles at £50,000

wheras its one of those cars i think i could happily own and not drive...it looks more like a sculpture than a car to me, id never tire of just looking at the damn thing...
