don't tend to seek out other lines...usually stick to what we have locally! If we visit others, they 're usually local t where we holiday. For a lot of years, my 8 year old son thought all trains were steam powered....18 months ago was his first trip on a 'normal' train...he found it a tad disappointing....no 'apparent' engine.

I can't resist this one There are 34 Administrative Counties in the UK, so you have a few more to go and then 'The World'

Seriously - that's a hell of a lot of travelling. Do you have a favourite?

Blimey, erm. Some parts of U S of America, Norway, Scottish Highlands, Isle Of Skye, Australia, Canada, French Alps, Provence (got a holiday home there), Tanzania. So many different strengths in various places, hard to pick favourites really.

I ought to add to the list of hobbies, our local Leisure and Fitness Club. Barely more expensive than a normal gym, it offers every luxury usually associated with very expensive hotel/leisure complexes. I was down there this morning at 7 am sharp. Average work out, gentle swim, steam room, sauna, another short swim and then a lay by the pool with a coffee and the Sunday newspaper. This is the life!

used to be almost 25 stone and brutally strong....trimmed down last year and now sit around 19 an a half stone with above average strength.....train 5 days a week with a blend of cardio and old fashoined big weighlifting movements....hard to hit the ideal balance of strenght and fitness...gonna try to come down to about 17 an a half/18 stone over the next 6 months then bulk back up to a solid scary 19 plus......but that will take dedication and willpower......so we shall see...!!

well you will be in luck then Bamford the snow is coming down fast in the highlands and aberdeenshire areas you should try the Lecht for skiing some time or over at Fort william my friends swear by these slopes. ____(OO=[II]=OO)___ (O=0000=O) Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? ...He's a mile away and you've got his shoes.

The shunting back and forth at Edinburgh has ended any further hope of sleep. Yes, QJ, i will take a look if it is open, but i doubt it will be. I have been on the steam train there several times though.
