UK roads don't work with fun,
depends how one quantifies 'fun?'
finding back roads, keeping an eye out for speed limits..and using a car which, whilst not having enormous power (or indeed, any) but gives a good drive....just as much fun can be had driving a car that gives the driver good feedback, snappy acceleration
yet not oversilly with speed.
plus puts one into a different driving environment form usual?
for example, open top/no roof at all?
open wheels (with mudguards, silly!)?
3 wheels instead of 4?
barely legal exhaust note?
perhaps...a crash gearbox. to practice double de-clutching?
what about an external gearlever, like the old vintage sportscars?
I'd hqve a Triking...3 wheels, Moto-Guzzi power, guzzi gearbox for real sequential changes....but not a cattinells chance at 5K...more like 20k's now!
