there was no negotiations for the rangey...i offered what i thought it was worth, he mulled it over for several hours, and he let me have it....given that he and his wife are retired doctors who owned a practice, and the size of their house, im sure they didnt need the money...

but even if your selling a shed, and why you would buy one is beyond me, an honest description is best, it prepares any buyers for the worst...one of the best ads i put in was for a reprehensible diesel escort i had the misfortune of being given....
i put....''94 escort diesel, long mot and tax, though i have presumed the mot tester was blind, starts and stops, accelerates with the same vigour as continental drift, looks horrible, smells horrible but keeps the rain off..though a burberry umbrella and wellies would be more stylish and cheaper in the long run'.......

i thought it was worth a grand to me bearing in mind i need to make a profit....i knew there was a decent profit in it, but my estimate of £1250-£2k was woefully short..which was a nice surprise....
well the hundred plus watchers and almost 35 bids certainly seem to suggest you were right..
soon as i have the cash, im gonna buy all the bits n bobs for my coupe and 'future proof' it..it will mean i relax much more while driving it and should make it worth £3k ono when i sell it...(which may be soon, tax is due and i hate taxing cars!!..haha)
along with its fsh, it will have a new rear hub assembly (bearing slightly noisy) a new thermostat, a new water pump and the pipery round the back of the engine replaced, a new clutch and all the belts done....all common coupe faults, and all things any new owner should budget for doing...(or buy one like mine that has had it all done...)...
that was when it was £1500..haha...and i took it off sale when i realised it may/may not need a clutch in the next 6 months or so....better to have a proper honest car for sale than one that may/may not got pop......
'life is what happens to you when your busy making other plans'......john lennon said that....but he also said ..'i am the egg man, i am the walrus'....so what did he know?...
