I always thought TVR cancelled all orders placed for the Speed 12 and dismantled the cars, after Peter Wheeler decided it was too powerful for the roads... Then I stumbled across an example for sale at Coys! W112 BHG
If only TVR could have made this car happen... maybe 10 years later they would be developing their latest supercar and really showing the world what Blackpool could produce.
There must be more to the story than the rumours suggest though. Cars like the Bristol Fighter T, SSC Ultimate Aero TT, Koenigsegg CCXR and of course Bugatti Veyron offer similar power, through various delivery systems and are all deemed "safe". This new Canadian Locus Plethore has up to 1,300bhp (so they say). Why couldn't the Speed 12 happen TVR???
Still, its nice to see there is one knocking around - and hopefully it will be bought by someone who will use it for the likes of us to catch a glimpse of it fly by.
