I really dont understand the Compass and the Patriot.
The Compass costs 2k more but i dont see why.

By the way does anyone else notice that the rear of the Compass looks a bit like a Ninja ...Cayenne?

I think the Patriot is supposed to have a more "family man" appeal to it...ie for that fat, balding, middle aged bloke who badly wants to believe he drives a true off roader (hence the Jeep name) whilst the reality is that it's nothing more than a jacked up estate (which Subaru makes a much better job of, thank you very much).

Meanwhile the compass is aiming at a more youthful, possibly feminine audience, with it's more compact dimensions, smoothed edges, but still retaining that Jeep image.

Well that's just my take on it, no idea of the actual purpose of the two models really, just an educated guess from examining them.

LOL.

The Compass does look a bit like the Cayenne & all I can say is poor Jeep! Red Face

Then again, if Porsche can shift something as ugly as the Cayenne in vast numbers, Jeep might be able to pull it off if they stick a Porsche badge on it!!!!
