My gf is after a used car and has spotted a Ford Focus 1.6 Zetec 03 plate price £3290 but she's got the price down to £3150 which includes a 12 month warranty.
It has done 90k and is an ex-company car.

mileage won't be a problem as long as the car has been treated well

Is the price ok for this car?

It seems a fair price as parkers are quoteing over £3500 for cars which have only done 50k.

Any more opinions before I go to see it?

It's a lot of car for the money.

Please, please, please don't buy the 1.6 petrol unless it's the 115bhp version. My brother has the 99bhp version and it is gutless. You must go for at LEAST the 1.8 petrol or TDCi.

TDCi seems to suit the lower Focus models well.

The 1.6 engine is well suited for the mk1 focus giving an impressive blend of perfomance and economy. The 1.6 diesel is fine but you will have to do mega miles to recoup the extra outlay of the purchase price.
