It's based on an AX Forte 1.1i shell. These shells had the GT/GTi chassis, as opposed to the lower model chassis, and the GT/GTi bodykit and styling. The benefit of the Forte is that:
1) It's not a rare model like the GT/GTi, so it won't matter in the grand scheme of things if I stack it again
2) No under-carpet sound deadening as standard.
Spec will be:
2000 Saxo VTS 1.6 16v DOCH engine
106 GTi suspension and brakes
Illuminated Plasma Dials
Escosse Racing forced cold air system
Decat
and the new toys..
Miltek/Raceland 4-2-1 performance stainless steel manifold
Newman road/race cams
I should see around 160bhp at the flywheel with that, give or take a few ponies. The figures in theory, traction permitting, should see it sprint to the usual ball park times quicker than an Astra VXR.
5.7 seconds 0-60, 13.9 1/4 time, 14 seconds to 100mph.

Naturally I will be keeping the GB sticker and 1.1i badges on the car.
