ah in your own little way your gettin to be as predictable and loveable as palmy......I HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT..TAKE ME TO THE KIA DEALER...I WANT ONE..I WANT ONE...I WANT ONE....ooohhh im goin away for a lie down in a darkened room.....
...the artist formerly known as biggbn says free your mind and your ass will follow...feel the love people, feel the love....
the only differnce is that palmy's car choice snobbish but good, whereas lancia's is just plain boring, hideous, infertile cars, that nobody wants or likes!
Its my taste in cars !!! i dont see them as boring!!!the sportage is much more intresting to look at aswell!
Good grief this is becoming a handbag session, chaps!
Boundary, yes i agree with your earlier comments, the RR was NO GOOD at all until the current BMW-derived model. It is this current model i have been referring to, and that is the model which i had for 6 months & did 40,000 miles in. Superb in every area, and makes you feel special. That interior is just supreme and I still havent really found a better place to be.
ML63 AMG will be magnificent. Ive driven the new model ML500 and that is mighty impressive, very smooth ride, lovely quality & right upto the minute, uses the new S-class's electronic transmission selector on the column etc.. And i like the styling too.
Remember this: I am an avid Mercedes-Benz aficionado & have owned 10 Mercedes, been happy with all of them, including my current crop.
BUT if i was a private motorist and i could have just one car and one car only to do everything, it would be a Range Rover.
Need another client who wants one for a similar contract to the one i had in 2003. Then i can go get another RR!
Lancia, you are one of those who brighten any cloudy day. You know why? For the amusement you bring me on a regular basis. Don't feel too smug though, i can think of at least one other person here who is just as funny. If you are not sure why, let me give you an example.
I drove several similar vehicles, before choosing the Honda CRV diesel as my 'all-purpose' car. I did quite a few miles, i read up quite a bit and i spoke to CRV owners (of the petrol version, the diesel wasn't out before i bought mine, i have one of the first).
Since then i have put 14,000 miles on the clock, read more glowing reports and have found it to be a fantastic car. Great economy, terrific build quality, a revvy and fast engine, strong mid-range power (where you drive most of the time), well-speccd. and very roomy, both in the cabin and in the boot.
Then you come along, with as much experience of this car as Beethoven and tell me all about it.
Mate, you are priceless.

Boundary, in your diesel CRV, are you encumbered with the unpleasantness of having to change gear yourself? If so, good grief my man, had you not realised that is most uncivilised?
Lancia yet again you are embarrsing yourself, to call those cars stock is mere excuse for your embarrament, then you provide pictures of korean fad that are merely on gravel, which even a Micra can ride on, i provided video clips of the CRV offroading superbly, its time now to stop cos i've proved my point, but you haven't proved yours.

Don't stop never give up Hold your head high and reach the top Let the world see what you have got Bring it all back to you
Hold on to what you try to be Your individuality When the world is on your shoulders Just smile and let it go If people try to put you down Just walk on by don't turn around You only have to answer to yourself
Don't you know it's true what they say In life it ain't easy But your time's coming around So don't you stop trying
Arr, me mateys!

Funnily enough, i like manual cars, my Honda CTR would be silly as an auto.
My BMW M5 is auto and manual and yes, the CRV is manual, although auto was available.
Just like petrol/diesel, i like both, Palmy. Variety is the spice of life and all that, dontchaknow.
The CR-V was announced as the best selling SUV in 2006

Thats were your wrong the CRV magically flew into korean, and decided to pay a visit to the Kia Factory, where it magically could superbly engineered by Lotus to go off roading, now its just as good as a Sporatge that can wizz across the Sahara desert like the legendry Sorento.

and top gear said the c-rv is a hair dressers car.
so now your comparing a 5 year old car to a car that is practically new. Yeh the CRV is a wimp compared to the Macho Guerrila Sportage.

and the c-rv interior looks very similer to the sportages also this kia has good build quality and kias are reliable .
Yes your right, the CRV is very hideous inside and the quality is trechrous, same goes for the realibilty, they are just rubbish.

with mums yes.
yeh your right, the CRV is driven by small blonde mums who also happen to own a X5, compared to the Sporatage, where millions of macho tough men drive in to their local kia dealership.
