engineers need to get onto making mini domestic garden or shed refineries. then we could have petrol at 30p a litre. no tax is applied as its not being sold or purchased for car use.

An ikkle oil refinery quitely bubbling away bargain-basement, fingers up at the taxman Brent Crude. Just what everyone wants in their back yard. I can just imagine the excitement on the kids faces (if I can still see them through the smog).
You've finally lost it, beach. That is way, way out there.

you would have only about a millionth of the smog of a national refinery though. for when we have battery cars we could also have mini nuclear reactors aswell. or how about a mini hydroelectric turbines that simply plug onto your water taps, free power whenever you use running water. ahahahahahah.

Honda has already developed a domestic hydrogen-production unit, fed by natural gas, which could also provide heat and electricity for the home.
The idea is that the HES sits in your garage and overnight uses a catalytic system to convert piped gas into hydrogen, compressing it to fill the tank of a fuel-cell car.

They will still tax you for it. I believe if you dig a well in your land for your on use you still have to pay the relevant department.
are you sure, how can tax be levied on a non existent transaction. its not possible. there are no figures to base a tax deduction from,no money has gone anywhere. if revenue asked to see your books you can send them a document with a big £0.00 on it.
