(to be spoken in an Eric Oldthwaite accent)21 bhp-more than enough lad. In my day we used to build a Citroen engine the night before out of two different cars and tour most of Europe with it fitted to an Ami 6 and still have fuel to spare. The young don't know they've been born. And that was after my 2cv4 with a gut-busting 435cc. which had the windscreen wipers off the speedo drive-why they ever fitted a speedo was a mystery-perhaps to prove that you were moving.Ah!! they were the good old days.
i actually love small low powered car, cars where you 'make progress' rather than accelerate...my wee beetle had 34 screaming hp...and it was more than enough for each and every task i put it to...god i miss that wee car...(wipes away tear....)
So if thats rural, what about "town" where it will spend most of its time?
Mileage warrenty only 25000 miles?
Price £6495
Somehow I think that there are plenty of superminis/town cars out there which are better value for money.....but I've always felt that the Smart is overpriced and this one says its an alternative to Smart - says it all, really!
can't say I'm keen. Looks cheaply built and can't imagine it'll last the test of time quite as well as a more mainstream car. If it was up to me I'd probably prefer a second hand Citroen C2 if I wanted a small town car for about 6.5k
